LALIGA Football Camps UK, Football Camp

This intensive course provides an optimal learning environment for those who are passionate about football and want to take their skills to a more professional level. The program is designed for boys and girls from 12 to 17 years old with any level of knowledge and play ability. LALIGA Football Camps UK offers a unique opportunity to live and train like professional footballers! Students are immersed in an intensive technical training plan created by world-class, UEFA-certified coaches.

The Football and Language course will include a minimum of 12.5 hours of football training and at least 14 hours of English lessons per week.

Before the start of football classes, as well as in their process, students will undergo sports testing for speed, strength, and agility. In training, players will improve their skills through authentic teaching methods. The creation of a perfect football player takes place through tactical, technical, physical and psychological sessions, seminars, master classes.

In training, there is also an active improvement of speaking skills, as all teachers and students use English as their main language.

The course is ideal for younger students who want to improve their level of English not just through classes, but also through exciting leisure activities.

The program is available to all levels of knowledge, from A0 to C2. The academic plan adapts to small groups of students, adapting the learning material to their skills. Weekly lessons (19.5 hours) are aimed at improving speaking skills, knowledge of grammar and pronunciation, and expanding vocabulary. With the help of excursions around London, students actively train their understanding of the English language and overcome the language barrier, explore the city from the perspective of history, geography, art and cultural heritage.

English for the Future (Capital)

With 20 hours of lessons per week, this innovative curriculum is specifically designed for teens who want to discuss global issues as leaders of the future and take action to transform the world.

The curriculum each week will include:

  • 10 hours of language lessons,
  • 5.5 hours of lessons dedicated to debates, seminars and the development of critical thinking,
  • 4.5 hours of research and project development in the field of overcoming poverty and hunger, protecting the planet, promoting peace, achieving gender equality and others.

English lessons aim to improve the four main skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening. As part of the program, students will develop presentation skills, speeches, with the help of which they will expand their vocabulary in the field of global problems and their solutions.

The program also includes sports, entertainment activities, excursions: they are organized after academic classes on weekdays, during the whole day on weekends.

Multiple Programs Royal Russell School is available in a full-time format with the option not to live in the school's residence:

  • English for the Future (Capital) — level from A2,

When studying in a full-time format, students receive all the benefits of the courses: academic classes in the amount of 19.5-20 hours per week, numerous campus and off-site events, comprehensive assistance from teachers, and others.

Language classes are aimed at improving general skills in reading, writing, grammar, pronunciation, speaking and listening, and expanding vocabulary. Speaking practice goes beyond the classroom: students communicate in English with teachers, school staff, classmates, and local residents.

The main advantage of the full-time format of education is the fact that local students do not have to leave their families for the duration of the course.

Accommodation, meals, prices

On the campus of the summer school there is a residence with rooms, each of which is designed to accommodate 1-3 students. Children are accommodated in rooms with roommates of a similar age, but of different nationalities - this approach allows students to broaden their horizons, learn about the culture and customs of another country, educate their language knowledge together, and make new friends.

Each residential building has recreation areas with upholstered furniture, in which indoor events are held.

Residents of the residence are provided with three meals a day: breakfasts, lunches, dinners are served in a large dining room. Dishes are prepared according to a balanced menu created on the basis of the rules of healthy eating. Any medical, dietary, religious needs of students are taken into account in the alternative menu (in person upon request).

Activities Royal Russell Summer School

Every week on the territory of the Royal Russell School, students get unforgettable emotions from campus events and field trips. An extensive leisure program will allow children to see London and its surroundings, enjoy the natural and architectural beauties, learn interesting facts about the life of locals and taste national cuisine. Every day in the evening, all students gather in open areas and large halls: the theme of the event is always different - from discos and karaoke evenings to talent shows and intellectual games.

On Saturdays, long full-day excursions are organized: students go sightseeing in Oxford, Cambridge, Canterbury, Windsor, will walk a lot, visit souvenir shops and markets. Sunday afternoon is also set aside for a long drive to Brighton or Portsmouth, where students can stroll along the beach, visit cafes and entertainment fairs, enjoy nature and relax.

The school has thematic Academies that offer classes in modern dance, cooking, essay writing, photography, golf, horse riding, tennis, and public speaking. Lessons are taught by specialized specialists.

Summer courses at Royal Russell School are usually held in June-August, each of them has a flexible duration of study. The weekly schedule will include academic classes and campus activities on weekdays, field trips on weekends.

Students are given the opportunity to both live in the residence and visit the campus only during the daytime - the cost of the course and the services included in it depend on this choice. All programs include the cost of campus and off-site events, study materials, language lessons and specialized classes.

Additional expenses will be required for participation in the activities of the Academies, transfers, individual lessons, pocket money during excursions.
