Summer Camp London-Woldingham is a summer camp for children from 10 to 17 years old, organising English language programmes on campus near central London.

Students who come to Summer Camp London-Woldingham for the summer holidays can expect comfortable living conditions, effective language classes under the guidance of qualified teachers, comprehensive support and an extensive programme of leisure activities. In a few weeks of study, students will have an excellent experience of staying in England, see the historical sights and natural beauties of this region, improve their conversational level of English and gain confidence in using it.

The programs are accessible to students of all levels: the curriculum is adapted to small groups of students with more or less the same level of knowledge, and native teachers give a large amount of individual attention to each of them to help them achieve progress and goals.

Upon admission, each student gets access to an electronic personal account, which stores all information about his program, including the progress of knowledge, advice from teachers, and the schedule of extracurricular activities.

General English Course

  • Age — from 10 to 17 years old,
  • The duration of the training is from one to four weeks.

The summer program, aimed at improving English language skills, is suitable for students with any initial level of English. The curriculum is based on the main aspects: reading and writing skills, speaking and listening, vocabulary replenishment, grammar. Thanks to small classes (up to 15 people), teachers pay individual attention to each student, together with him to achieve progress and eliminate difficulties in a timely manner. If a student feels a lack of confidence in their knowledge, they can supplement their program with individual lessons for an additional fee.

The course is presented in two formats, differing from each other in the number of lessons per week:

  • Standard – 20 lessons,
  • Intensive — 25 lessons.

Regardless of which format a student chooses, they will receive effective training, the care of teachers, interesting lessons and, of course, an active life outside the classroom: living next door to representatives of different nationalities, exciting excursions around London and nearby cities, campus events and much more.

Accommodation, meals, prices

Students are accommodated in a comfortable residence on the study grounds: they are accommodated in single rooms with beds, desks, and areas for storing personal belongings. Bathrooms are shared.

Pupils are provided with three meals a day according to a pre-compiled menu, which contains a wide selection of healthy dishes, in the preparation of which only fresh products are used. Students with special dietary, medical, or religious needs are provided with an alternative menu.

Activities London-Woldingham Summer Camp

Students of the summer programs can expect a wide range of campus and off-site activities, in the afternoon and evening on weekdays, they will participate in quizzes, attend weekly discos and karaoke nights, play football or badminton, board games or spend time outdoors.

Excursions are an important part of the summer course, as thanks to them, students from other countries will be able to immerse themselves in the history, culture, and beauty of England. Pupils have the opportunity to see the main attractions of London: Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace and others. On weekends, they can spend the whole day on the coast, go shopping in Brighton, visit the fairground attractions or enjoy the natural beauty of the countryside – all outdoor activities are led by the camp staff, making them comfortable and safe.

For an additional fee, the leisure program can be supplemented by events such as:

  • Tennis with professional athletes,
  • Cooking classes,
  • Trips to the rope park, horseback riding and other activities.

Perched on 700 acres of stunning countryside just half an hour's drive from central London, Summer Camp London-Woldingham offers state-of-the-art facilities in a historic 19th-century building. The study area boasts a huge space for walking, relaxing, sports and outdoor snacking — The courtyard of the educational building is a green area with shady alleys, benches, and meadows. The education takes place in modern classrooms with interactive whiteboards, audio and video equipment. Students have access to:

  • Indoor sports center with games, gym areas,
  • Student lounge with board games, bookcases,
  • Tennis court,
  • Outdoor sports ground.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the camp.

Admission dates and extra charges

Summer programs at Summer Camp London-Woldingham run from July to mid-August, with duration ranging from one to four weeks at the student's request. Classes are held on weekdays in the morning, after which campus and off-site events are organized, long excursions are held on weekends.

Many services are already included in the cost of the course:

  • Residence

Enrolment process

You can enroll in the program on any Sunday as part of the course. The candidate will have to go through several stages:

  • Choice of arrival date, duration of study, extracurricular activities,
  • Filling out the registration form, providing the required documents,
  • Payment of the registration fee,
  • Obtaining an official invitation, with the help of which a visa is issued,
  • Payment of the full tuition fee,
  • Arrival at the campus: passing the linguistics test, placement in groups, accommodation in the residence and the beginning of studies.

As one of the principles of effective teaching at Summer Camp London-Woldingham is teaching in small classes, the enrollment of students is very limited, those wishing to spend their summer camp holidays should apply as early as possible.
