The Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA), or the Academy of Fine Arts is the largest design high school in Italy. The university was founded by a group of famous artists and designers in 1980, and in the 90s the university entered the European league ELIA - these are the leading universities associated with the humanities.
NABA was the first private academy to receive accreditation from the Italian Ministry of Education. Highly qualified teachers with professional experience in the fashion, design and architecture industries work with university students. The ratio of students and teachers is 1: 3. Education takes place in English or Italian.
Since its inception, the prestigious art school NABA has earned many awards:
- In 1995, the institution received the honorary award Civic Merit Award, which is awarded to higher schools with achievements in the field of visual arts in Europe

The campus of the University of NABA Rome is located in one of the busiest areas of the city - this is the Garbatella quarter, located in the south-eastern part of Rome. The university occupies two historic buildings dating from the beginning of the 20th century. Their total area is about 3770 sq.m.
The infrastructure and equipment of the university is at the highest level: there are classrooms, a sewing studio, a media studio, a printing and engraving laboratory, a library, rest rooms and dining areas for classes.
Right next to the campus you can find key sights of the city: theaters, museums, galleries, cathedrals and more. Also, all NABA students receive personalized Milan Identity Cards, which give them the opportunity to visit cultural points on more favorable terms.

The academic year at the undergraduate begins in September, and the master's degree - from January. Summer kids camps in Italy are held in shifts from late June to early August.
