Moorland Ballet School is a summer ballet school for British and international students. The School works on the territory of the Moorland educational complex in the Ribble Valley, in one of the most picturesque places in Lancashire. A professional ballet school accepts beginners and experienced dancers. The potential and the desire to improve are needed to obtain academic knowledge and development of professional skills.
In Moorland Ballet, students from 11 to 18 years old study at summer specialized courses. The School offeres creative programs taking into account the level of basic preparation. The result of studying is the improvement of professional skills, understanding of the features and specifics of technology, the culture of classical dance.

The secondary school includes the program of 7-9 grades. The timetable is compiled in accordance with the UK National Education Standards: 10 to 12 disciplines required to obtain the GCSE. In addition to academic studies, the program includes professional coaching in classical ballet.

High school program - A-level + ballet
The high school program completes education in secondary school. In addition to basic subjects, students have the opportunity to additionally engage in subjects that are particularly interesting to them. For children who experience some difficulties in teaching in English, the school offers special preparatory courses. In addition to academic disciplines, students are coached in professional classical ballet.

Students of the summer school are accommodated on the basis of the Moorland School complex on a full board basis. They are provided with three meals a day. Accommodation is organized in comfortable rooms with private facilities. The rooms are designed for 2 - 4 people.

Activities Moorland Ballet School
Summer vocational program provides not only learning the techniques of ballet, acting and English, but also a lot of leisure activities for students. On the territory of the school there are themed meetings, parties, barbecues, etc. The tour program can include various cities of Lancashire region, other interesting places in England from the tourist point of view.
The daily routine:
- Breakfast - 8.00. After breakfast, the children begin to prepare for classes.
- The schedule of trainings and classes is compiled for each group individually. Usually, morning classes start at about 9 and last 1.5 hours. After noon, classes last up to 4 pm.
- 12.00 - Lunch.
- 17.00 - Dinner. Next - the evening program (games, movies, walks).
- 21.00 - Bed time.
