Leeds Arts University is the only specialist arts university in the north of England. Students from more than 60 different nationalities study here. Leeds Arts University warmly welcomes new international students, celebrating the diversity, new perspectives, and ideas they bring to the community. The university has state-of-the-art resources designed to train professionals in the creative arts, including Apple Mac computer kits, photo studios, a printing workshop, and a fashion design workshop. Many of the teachers are professionals in their field.

Leeds Arts University has partnered with two local residences, Carr Mills and The Leather Works, which are within walking distance of Blenheim Walk.

  • Carr Mills is a modern student complex offering rooms in 5, 6 and 7 bedroom apartments, located just a 15-minute walk from the university and a short bus ride to Leeds city centre. Most rooms have an en-suite bathroom; Students share a kitchen and living area, internet access and round-the-clock security, outdoor areas with landscaped gardens and a communal barbecue area. Students at Leeds Arts University are offered rooms in shared apartments with bills included in the price and TV in common areas.
  • The Leather Works is a hotel located just a short bus ride from Leeds city centre and a 20-minute walk from Leeds Arts University. It offers a wide range of amenities, including a dedicated play area with TV, a separate dining room with a kitchen, and its own bakery. The hotel also has a cinema room, on-site gym, quiet study areas. Students at Leeds Arts University have a choice of a single or double en-suite bedroom in the shared apartments, with all amenities including fast Wi-Fi, and TVs in the shared living room or kitchen.

The Leeds Union of the Arts is a specialist body offering students creative opportunities in addition to hosting a range of clubs and associations. Scholarships Leeds Arts University

International students who receive fee-paying education immediately after completing the advanced training course to obtain a bachelor's degree at Leeds Arts University will qualify for the International Progression Award, which is a 10% reduction in tuition fees per year. No application is required, the International Progression Award is awarded automatically.
