Mandarin House Language School is one of the most famous language schools in China. Courses are offered in the main cultural, social, business centers of the country - Shanghai and Beijing. Shanghai center of Mandarin House is conveniently located in the center of the business capital in Asia. Founded in 2004, the language school is the only accredited IALC in China. In addition, the school is recognized by Chinese National Council for the teaching of language as a foreign language.

The Chinese language course provides an academic load of 20 lessons per week. The minimum duration of the program is 2 weeks, the maximum - 8. In the classroom, students are invited to study Chinese grammar, vocabulary. They also have the opportunity to practice reading and writing. The emphasis is on listening to speech, working on pronunciation. Extra-curricular activities provided by the program, contribute to the development of skills through communication in an informal environment.
- Student age: 13-19 years (children from 7 years and older are admitted only with a parent or guardian).
- Start dates: 23.06 - 16.08.
- Enrollment requirements: any level of proficiency in Chinese.
- The result of the studying: the development of general language skills for communicating in Chinese in everyday life.

- Duration of the lesson: 50 minutes.
The price includes the curriculum (services of teachers, methodological materials), testing in the distribution by groups, final certification, accommodation and meals, Internet access, off-site weekly excursion, 5 extra-curricular activities, meeting / seeing off at the airport.
Short information about programs with different intensity of studies, aimed at adult students and providing for the possibility of studying common, separate aspects of the Chinese language.
Adult courses provide the opportunity to study Chinese on one of the following programs:
- Conversational Chinese with an intensity of 20 hours / week. Most of the time is devoted to conversational practice.
- Comprehensive Chinese, which includes 30 academic sessions per week. In addition to developing communication skills and speaking, the course provides studying for Chinese writing.
- Preparation for HSK testing (30 group and 5 individual lessons per week). Passage of the test is confirmed by a certificate of the appropriate sample. This document is accepted by the universities of China and is necessary when working for large companies in the country. At the lessons within the framework of the program, students are introduced to the methodology for performing test tasks.
- Business Chinese (25 hr.). The course provides for the study of general Chinese in groups of 6 to 10 people and 5 individual thematic sessions with the teacher weekly.

Accommodation, meals, prices
Students from 7 to 19 years old are offered accommodation in a family (in a single room). The host family is selected individually. In the house students are provided with everything necessary for comfortable living.
School programs provide three meals a day. Also, on a daily basis (Monday-Friday), students also receive snacks during breaks between lessons.
Adults are offered accommodation in apartments (selected / recommended by the school) on a self-service basis.
The cost of living for students over 18 years old is:
- From 320 USD per week. (In summer + 55 USD per week) in the family;
- From 590 USD per week. (In summer + 90 USD per week) in the studio or apartment;
- From 355 USD per week. (In summer + 60 USD per week) in the apartment.
Activities Mandarin House Language School
Language courses include rich extracurricular program. Entertainment activities (barbecues, discos, concerts, performances, competitions) take place at the school every day. The same goes for sports. Students are given an opportunity to keep fit in gyms, clubs and centers near Mandarin House. The cognitive program provides for short excursions up to 3 times a week. 1 full day excursion is planned for every Saturday.
