Facilities and equipment at Karelia University of Applied Sciences

Education at the Karelian University of Applied Sciences takes place in two campuses: Tikkarinne and Vyartsilya.

Tikkarinne is the main campus: here is the office of the rector and administration, there are classrooms and laboratories for specializing in healthcare and social security. Student Hospital allows you to master professional skills in practice.

The campus library has modern services for finding information.

Each building has a cafe where students can dine much cheaper than in the city.

Joensuu is located in a very picturesque place, on the shore of Lake Pyhäselkä. The city is divided in two by the Pilesijoki River.
