All teachers of the school are experienced professionals who have been educated to work with international groups, they are able to teach students for whom German is not their native language. Communicative, interactive methods are actively used: each student is involved in discussions, role-playing games, projects and research, debates in order to progress every day, quickly overcome the language barrier. Kaplan Berlin guarantees that each new student will master the B2 level in a course (minimum of 2 weeks). The national composition of the school is very diverse:

1. The beer festival, held over the past 20 years, annually gathers more than 800,000 people from all over the world: this is a chance to try the drinks of 300 breweries from 80 countries, more than 2,000 varieties, local and world-famous.
2. Excursions are organized to Hamburg, Potsdam, Sanssauci Palace, Leipzig, Tropical Islands water park. There is something to see, of course, in Berlin: the Brandenburg Gate, Potsdamer Platz, Berlin Cathedral, The Museum of Natural History, the East Side/Urban Spree Gallery, the Botanical Garden, the Museum and Zoo, the Olympic Stadium, the Holocaust History Museum, Check Point Charlie, the remains of the Berlin Wall, the Reichstag building and much more.
3. After school, students can participate in conversation clubs, board game tournaments, cooking classes - all this will help to quickly remove the language barrier and improve oral speech. Karaoke is especially popular! In winter, you can go ice skating on Alexander Platz: in one of the oldest fountains in Germany, the Neptune Fountain, a magnificent skating rink is poured.
4. Visitors to the courses in winter will be able to enjoy the Quedlinburg Christmas Market, one of the main Christmas markets in Europe. Drinks, local dishes and pastries, handmade goods, gifts – all surrounded by lights, snowflakes and multilingual speech from around the world! This historical fair is even listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
