The Centre for Teaching, Learning and Innovation at the British Columbia Institute of Justice. CTLI takes a flexible team approach to the development of programs, courses, resources, and educators for both internal JIBC programs and specialized contract or customer-facing education and education projects. Diploma Program

The diploma program allows you to master the chosen direction quickly and efficiently - the course lasts 2 years and includes a large amount of practice and the study of theory. Available destinations:

Accommodation, meals, prices

Because JIBC does not provide on-campus accommodation, all students arriving from outside the Metro Vancouver region will need to find a place to stay.

Many international students choose to live with a host family during the first few months of living in Canada. The organization of homestay accommodation will select housing in accordance with the interests of the student and his individual requirements. Families living in a family are carefully checked and selected.

Enrolment process

International students can register online, but as stated in JIBC's International Study Procedure, an international fee will be charged.

Step-by-step admission process:

  • Find out which JIBC program you are interested in.
  • Determine if you meet the entry and English language requirements.
  • Once you have chosen a program, check the deadline for applying for the program
  • Complete the application form through EducationPlannerBC.
  • Provide all necessary documentation for admission to the JIBC International Relations Office. The reception will provide a complete list of required documents.
  • After the application deadline, wait for a response to confirm your consent to participate in the program.
  • When you receive a letter of acceptance, confirm in writing that you accept the offer to join the program.
  • On time, pay a non-refundable commitment fee to reserve a place in the program.
  • After the deposit is paid and confirmed by the Finance Department (approximately 7-10 working days), the university will issue an official letter of acceptance and a receipt for tuition fees.

Scholarships Justice Institute of British Columbia

The Financial Aid Office, located at the New Westminster Campus Student Service Centre, provides advice on student funding, information on scholarships, prizes and scholarships, and handles government financial aid applications.

The International Academic Excellence Award was established thanks to the generous support of the donor. The award is given to international full-time students in the Post-Baccalaureate Diploma Disaster Management (PBDDM) or Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) program who have worked hard to achieve academic success.

Scholarship criteria:

  • Be an international student (prohibited for exchange students, invited students or students funded by employers or government agencies).
  • Be enrolled full-time in the Disaster Management Program after earning a Bachelor's Degree (PBDDM) or the Primary Care Paramedic Program (PCP).
  • We have completed at least 3 courses.
  • Have good academic performance with an aggregate GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • Provide an essay in support of the application.
