The summer camps of the JKCP network (Julian Krinsky Camps and Programs), including the famous and popular Julian Krinsky Camp Haverford College, have been operating for over 35 years, offering students from all over the world interesting programs for studying English abroad. In total, Julian Krinsky Camps and Programs have developed more than 20 courses, among which each student will be able to find the right one for himself:

Every year, summer camp programs are implemented for students from 35 world states and 40 American states - camps are based on the campuses of the best US educational institutions:

The oldest partner of Julian Krinsky Camps and Programs is the prestigious Haverford College, which was founded in 1833. This is a huge campus (216 acres!), where for students there is absolutely everything that can be needed for program, leisure and recreation: the pride of the college is a duck pond and a spacious arboretum, in which more than 400 species of shrubs and trees grow - the arboretum received a national recognition and fame in practice as a mini-reserve. Haverford College is located in the suburbs of Philadelphia (just a few kilometers to the city center), which makes it easy for students to transfer, travel and participate in various excursions.

Summer tennis camp

The summer camp, dedicated to exercises in tennis, takes children from 10 to 17 years: groups usually break up into 7-9, 10-13 and 14-17 years. The program has been working successfully for more than 35 years: here you can improve your skills as completely newcomers who never had a racket before, as well as more advanced and experienced athletes wishing to sharpen certain skills and compete with players of their level. Each week is planned from 25 hours of education, from Monday to Friday: one session on the court lasts 2.5 hours. Typical schedule of the students' day of this program is as follows:

  • 8:00 am
  • 8:30 - breakfast and fees
  • 9:00 - departure to the studying base
  • 9:30 - warm-up
  • 9:45 - development of basic skills / group games / "Davis Cup"
  • 12:00 - general studying for the development of strength and endurance, strengthening of the cardiovascular system
  • 12:30 - lunch
  • 13:30 - the game one by one and in pairs
  • 15:45 - summarizing the day: studying and competition items
  • 16: 00-17: 30 - activities and games, private lessons and consultations
  • 17:45 - dinner
  • 18:00 - the beginning of evening activities and entertainment, departure for a short excursion or a walk outside the campus.

The course is conducted with the support of the world leader in the production of professional equipment for tennis - the company Head. Children are engaged under the guidance of professional, experienced, qualified coaches: they are all world-class players, they are in the most prestigious and respected sports organizations (USTA, USPTA, USPTR, ITF). Groups for classes are small (up to 5 people): so the instructor can give each child a proper amount of personal attention, more closely monitor his progress and achievements, possible difficulties.

The program includes the very basics of this beautiful game, staging punches and learning the rules, and more professional skills, strategy and tactics on the field, defensive and attacking techniques. Students will be able to participate in numerous friendly games, team games, competitions and tournaments together with players of their level - winners are awarded memorable souvenirs, prizes and medals.

Summer Golf Camp

Summer English language course together with golf exercises is an excellent option for active schoolchildren, who decided to spend the summer with benefit and pleasure!
The program works for children of 10-13 years old: professional, experienced and qualified instructors in the program are engaged with the students, which was specially developed by the best golfers of the USA. There is an opportunity to complete a day course (without accommodation and meals) and for children 8-10 years old.

Small groups of 4 people are formed, who spend studying time in 25 fields with a full set of necessary equipment. The program is suitable for beginners who hold the stick for the first time, and for more experienced sportsmen who want to sharpen certain skills and compete with their peers. Students are taught basic strokes and basic techniques, sharpen the accuracy and physical form, endurance and impact strength, consider with them different strategies and tactics of the game, tournament formats, behavioral characteristics on the field and game ethics.

The program of the summer camp includes a variety of tournaments (9 and 18 holes), matches and competitions between players of a similar level (usually on Fridays), memorable souvenirs, prizes and gifts. Studying is held on weekdays (from Monday to Friday) and take up to 5 hours each day. The approximate schedule for the day of young golfers is as follows:

  • 9:00 - departure to the studying base

  • 9:45 - development of basic skills

The program "The Young Researcher"

A unique, unusual combination course is ideal for active and inquisitive schoolchildren of 10-13 years old, helping them to create really interesting and memorable summer vacations. eSport NSG Academy

During the summer camp eSport students will get a full picture of the modern industry of computer and online games:

  • They will practice with the best players from all over the world, professional gamers, many of whom are already constantly working with top international companies;

Accommodation, meals, prices

Participants in summer programs live in their own college residences, which are provided with comfortable private rooms with air conditioning (bathrooms are designed for every few rooms, in blocks and located on each floor), beds and wardrobes, bookshelves and personal items, table and chairs, lighting. There are also several double rooms available for students traveling together, or members of the same family, rooms for 3 and 4 people. When resettlement takes into account the age and gender principle - boys and girls live separately.

A boarded, balanced meal is organized in the common dining room - the dining center. The diet is specially designed to cover the need of young students in vitamins, calories and nutrients, the menu for every day is delicious and varied, taking into account all the desires of students:

  • Breakfast: fresh fruit and juices, pastries and bread, croissants and donuts, french toast, pancakes and cereal with milk or yogurt, eggs and scrambled eggs;
  • Lunch: sandwiches, fresh salads, hot dishes and even pizza!
  • Dinner: fresh salads, hot dishes and a variety of side dishes, useful and tasty pastries, desserts, vegetables and fruits.

Weekly dinner is organized outside the campus: it can be a cozy barbecue or a visit to the restaurant during excursions.
