Iona College Summer Camp is a prestigious training center that is annually chosen by students from Europe, Russia and China for language practice. The college has excellent conditions that are suitable for students with any level of training. Everyone will be able to improve their language skills and learn to communicate confidently in English!

Experience Programme

  • Age of students: 10-20 years
  • Start dates: 17.06, 24.06, 1.07, 8.07, 15.07, 22.07, 29.07
  • Duration: 2-3 weeks
  • Classes up to 15 students.

The Summer Experience Programme provides an opportunity to practice language skills while fully immersed in the language environment. Classes are focused on the needs of students: everyone gets the opportunity to practice the language when working in pairs and groups. Students are engaged in textbooks that are designed for those engaged in short summer courses.

At the end of the training, students receive a certificate of completion of the course, which includes assessments and comments from teachers.

Children are waiting for 15 hours of English per week, classes are held for three hours five times a week, in the morning and in the evening. The course accepts students with any level of training, from Elementary to Advanced.

Excursions included in the two-week Experience Programme:

  • All-day trip to Greenwich Village, High Line, Chelsea district, Netflix Film Festival in Bryant Park
  • Full day excursion: Statue of Liberty, downtown New York
  • Full day excursion: Central Park and Metropolitan Museum of Art
  • Full day excursion: Brooklyn Bridge, Chinatown, SoHo, Little Italy
  • Full day excursion: Columbus Circle, Fifth Avenue, MoMa Museum of Contemporary Art
  • All-day excursion: Times Square, Top of the Rock
  • Half-day excursion: Coney Island
  • Half-day excursion: basketball game
  • Half-day excursion: Woodbury Common Premium Outlets
  • "Weekend at Niagara Falls" (2 days and 1 night): visiting waterfalls, Mist boat tour, Hard Rock Cafe, Woodbury Common Premium Outlets.

Classic Superior

  • Age of students: 10-20 years

The classical program is suitable for students with any level of language: students undergo preliminary online testing, and then study in groups according to their level of training. The course includes 15 hours of English - 3 hours 5 days a week. Students on the course:

  • Develop and increase their vocabulary
  • Improve oral and listening skills
  • Get to know the culture of the United States
  • Practice language in and out of the classroom
  • Gain confidence in the application of English in life
  • Find new friends.

Excursions included in the two-week Superior Programme:

Students live in single or double rooms in a comfortable residence. For the participants of the camp, modern rooms for two people with all amenities and recreation areas are prepared, free Wi-Fi is available throughout the territory.

Activities Iona College Summer Camp

Every day at the summer camp, students are waiting for interesting activities that will allow them to make new friends and practice English. The camp program includes excursions for the whole day and half a day. Upon arrival at the camp, a welcome party is organized for students - a great chance to get acquainted with peers and get used to the camp! In the following days after classes in English, the team of the training center invites students to take part in sports tournaments in volleyball or basketball, talent shows and thematic events. In the evening, students attend movie nights, discos, pool parties. Also, each program develops its own excursion program - you can see the details in the description of a particular course.

Facilities and equipment at Iona College Summer Camp

Summer camp is located in New York, in the New Rochelle area. It is a tranquil residential area with public park areas, shops, entertainment centers and a cinema. New York is easily accessible by train, the journey time to downtown Manhattan will be about 30 minutes. On the territory:
