The International School of the Algarve opened its doors in 1972 - its founders are Paul and Eva Schelfhout. Here, both Portuguese and foreign citizens can study, and to this day the institution remains friendly and hospitable towards international students.
The school is located in the center of the real pearl of the Adriatic, in the warmest and southern province of the country - in the Algarve, which coastline reaches 200 kilometers. The center of the historical province and county is Faro's sea port city. Here there is a beautiful soft and comfortable climate, plenty of sunny days and a constant pleasant fresh breeze from the sea. This is one of the most beautiful European coasts, protected from harsh northern winds by mountain ranges. The air smells of almond and orange trees, gardens, ocean.
The main educational programs last from September to June (three semesters); The school is divided into three levels:
- Kindergarten
- Junior classes
- High school (11-16 years old, GCSE and A-level British High School program).
The curriculum meets high European standards, includes all the necessary fundamental disciplines. In addition to academic studying, students here are waiting for active formation of valuable social skills, cognitive and communicative skills.

The cost of staying in the camp is:
- 2 weeks = 2000 €
- 4 weeks = 4000 €
- 6 weeks = 6000 €.
