Work experience in the field of international education – 10+ years at boarding and day schools within the UK and UAE. Alison believes that ESL support is very important for schools where the majority of students who join do not have English as their mother tongue language. ESL is important especially for the children who come into the bilingual class, as the likelihood is that they will not speak English, and have French and German as their first language.
