IGS Ecole de Ressources Humaines (IGS-RH) is a higher education institution specializing in the education of specialists in the field of human resource (personnel) management. The institution is part of the global educational network of French specialized universities IGS Groupe and has three campuses located in the central parts of Paris, Lyon and Toulouse.

For more than 45 years, the graduate school has been offering bachelor's and master's degrees, confirming the quality knowledge of students and helping them at the start of an HR career. Thanks to cooperation with more than 9000 organizations and companies, students receive many internship and job offers during the educational process and immediately after graduation.

Bachelor's Program, Bachelor's Degree Programs

  • The term of study is three years,

The three-year Bachelor's program in Human Resource Management and Digital Transformation is a step-by-step development of the field of human resources (personnel).

  1. In the first year of study, students will spend six months attending classes on campus in Paris or Lyon, three months on courses in Europe and two to three months on an internship in France or abroad.
  2. In the second year, students will attend academic lectures for six months and then spend four to five months on an internship.
  3. The third year is the final year of the program. It includes more practice: from four to six months of internship or a full year of work-study, depending on the chosen campus.

Upon completion of their studies, graduates will receive a BAC3 degree.

Master's Program, Master's Programs

  • The term of study is from 1.5 to 3 years,
  • Campuses - Lyon, Paris, Toulouse.

The institution offers master's degrees on three campuses, with both programs taught in different languages:

  • International Human Resource Management (English): 15 months of study in Paris. The curriculum includes 8 months of classes and 6 months of internship,
  • Professional Management in Human Resources Management (English and French): 3 years of study in Lyon, Paris or Toulouse. Students will be trained for 4-6 months in France or abroad, or will spend all three years in the "work + study" format.

Accommodation, meals, prices

The specialized school does not have residential buildings to accommodate students, but IGS-RH staff will help students find housing near the study areas and draw up the necessary documents.

Student associations have been established on all IGS-RH campuses to represent the core interests of students. IGS-RH has three campuses located in the central districts of Paris, Lyon and Toulouse.

Infrastructure of the study area in the capital of France Paris:

  • A library with a repository of more than 3500 books, scientific papers, press reviews, subscriptions to national and international specialized press,

The campus is close to three metro lines and two train stations. In the neighborhood there are shops, cafes, entertainment centers and attractions.

The educational buildings in Lyon are located in the heart of the 9th arrondissement, that is, less than 400 meters from the transport hub, where buses, metro and trains meet. From Lyon it is easy to get to major European cities: Barcelona, Milan, Turin, Geneva and others. It is particularly well served by the rail network, which in particular allows you to reach Paris in just two hours, by air with Saint-Exupéry International Airport and more than 120 direct destinations. Modern campus equipment includes:

  • Computer labs with Microsoft, CISCO, Tell me More, Voltaire and other packages,
  • Laboratories of Educational Innovations,
  • Dining room
  • Recreation and self-study areas.

The campus in Toulouse is 6000 sq. m. of academic space with innovative equipment:

  • 45 classrooms,
  • Nine amphitheaters with a capacity of 40 to 90 people,
  • 11 IT rooms equipped with PCs,
  • One computer graphics cabinet equipped with Mac computers,
  • Two studios: an editing studio and a radio studio,
  • Six rooms for group work and self-study,
  • Two dining rooms with catering,
  • Multifunctional sports ground.

Students also have access to three labs, experiential ecosystems for collaboration and project implementation. In addition, the Le Hub Documentary Resource Center provides students with more than 1000 books, about 30 specialized magazines and numerous press publications. 

Near the school there are tram and bus stops, shops, the Blagnac shopping center, restaurants and the Aeroscopia Museum.

Admission dates and extra charges

The school year begins in September-October and lasts for 8-9 months. The weekly student schedule includes five school days: Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday are days off. Students rest on national, international holidays and during the summer holidays.

In the process of admission from new students, a competition fee of 60 € will be required.

Enrolment process

The admission procedure consists of several stages:

  • Filling out an online form, providing the required documents,
  • Receiving a positive response from the admissions committee and paying the registration competition fee,
  • Arrival at the campus for entrance examinations: interviews with employees, language and profile testing,
  • Enrollment and commencement of education.

About 87% of graduates start their careers within three months of graduation. A large network of 19,000 alumni in France and abroad confirms the quality of knowledge and skills that the school provides. The average salary of an IGS-HR graduate is €32,500 .

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol

Applicants for undergraduate programs should provide:

  • Personal documents: passport, health insurance, visa or residence permit,
  • Certificate of completion of complete secondary education with an evaluation transcript,
  • Certificate confirming the level of knowledge of the French / English language.

Future masters must provide the same document forms, with the exception of proof of the level of education - instead of a school certificate, a bachelor's degree in a related field will be required.

Admission is based on the results of entrance examinations.
