The Atelier Chardon Savard School of Design and Style of Dress was founded in 1988 by Cirell Chardon and Dominique Savard and offers applicants an unimaginable mix of the academic world of a research laboratory and a full-life educational, production and creative process. Here it is believed that creativity is a thing that can be taught and which can be learned.

Innovative and advanced methods differ markedly from those adopted in the classical academic environment; teachers are in constant contact with students, directing and inducing their creative urges. Innovative trends in fashion here are considered one of the learning goals and philosophy of the school.

The school has excellent opportunities to promote the employment of graduates in the most prestigious and respected fashion houses, which is due to the widest network of partners and several thousand graduates holding the positions of creative directors, stylists, fashion designers, designers.

Moreover, during their studies, students undergo one or more mandatory internships that allow them to develop practical skills and intersectoral buildings.

Atelier Chardon Savard campuses are located in Paris and Nantes, France, as well as in Berlin, Germany.

The Paris campus is located in the building of the printing house of the XIX century in the quiet district of Oberkampf in the XI arrondissement of Paris. There are many parks, squares, cafes and restaurants, historical sights - from the Bataclan to the July Column in the Bastille Square. The educational institution does not provide services for the accommodation of students in dormitories, but nothing prevents the use of numerous youth hostels of long-term residence, located in the IX, X, XI arrondissements of Paris. Some of them offer discounts for students (you can check the availability of discounts and its sizes with the administration of the hostel). The university recommends using the services of Studapart and is ready to act as a guarantor for the entire period of study. From February 2022, students are provided with a round-the-clock free psychological support service.

The Nantes campus opened in 2010. There is education in the bachelor's program.

The Berlin campus opened its doors in 2017. Classes are held in a studio in the Kreuzberg district in collaboration with hKDM University (in English).

Schools have concluded more than 170 contracts with foreign universities and 15 enterprises and organizations.

Education is carried out in close cooperation with practicing designers, organizations and enterprises of the fashion industry.

89% of graduates are employed in their specialty within a year after graduation.

Enrollment is based on internal creative exams and a remote interview.

Scholarships and grants are not available to students on the French campus.

Study programs at Atelier Chardon Savard Berlin / hKDM are paid and not subsidized by the state, however Atelier Chardon Savard Berlin provides partial scholarships. To apply for a scholarship, the applicant must submit an application, showing that he is entitled to receive a scholarship due to the presence of needs (difficult financial situation, etc.) or on the basis of outstanding academic merits.

To apply for a scholarship on need, you must provide a number of documents:

• Written summary of the financial situation;
• Certificate of need;
• Bank documentation;
• Certificates of income of the applicant, his parents or guardians.

It is also necessary to provide a motivation letter in which it is necessary to describe personal and disciplinary qualifications, demonstrate high social and public activity, participation in charitable and volunteer projects.

Scholarships are submitted annually, the deadline for submission is January 31, May 31, July 31, October 31. In each case, 15 days are allotted for consideration and announcement of the results.
