Hockey private schools in Vienna - Okanagan Hockey School and Academy Europe can be called the best hockey school in Europe - it's a branch of the famous American academy Okanagan Hockey. The organization and the academy have been operating since 1963, and the branch in Austria was opened in 2008 - in the heart of the country, in the picturesque city of Sankt Pölten, students of Europe and the world can simultaneously receive both high-quality academic education and top-level sports training.

For students in the 9-12 grades, which are the majority in the school, an internationally recognized and popular IB course (International Baccalaureate), accredited by prestigious organizations, is offered. Approximately 70% of the students of the Austrian campus are foreigners - they can choose the most suitable study program for them:

  • Lower Austrian International School (in English), is awarded the Austrian diploma diploma Matura or the international IB Diploma
  • Handelsschule für Leistungssport (German).

For foreigners, ESL support courses are also offered.

A unique educational program helps students to improve both in academic and sports terms: every day classes are held in classes and lectures, in the hockey arena and in gyms. There are also seasonal Skills Camp camps (in spring and autumn) where you can develop your playing skills, as well as in-depth language courses (German, English, French, Russian and others).

At the same time, 4 sports teams function on the basis of the Academy, taking part in national and international championships, tournaments, and friendly games. Teams are provided for students of different ages: already from a young age hockey players can develop and progress to receive in the future nominal scholarships, admission to the best sports or academic universities in North America, Europe and the world.
