Gower College Swansea takes the safety and well-being of students very seriously, placing all international students between the ages of 16 and 18 in one of the carefully selected and approved host families. Gower College Swansea's approved homestay provides a unique experience, with students having the opportunity to experience British culture, improve their English language skills and get advice about life in Swansea, Wales and the United Kingdom.

Students will be provided with: a private bedroom with a storage room, a place to study and Wi-Fi, their own key to the house. Breakfast and dinner will also be provided every day. Students will need to comply with college attendance rules and curfews.

Admission dates and extra charges

The academic year at Gower College Swansea lasts from September to June and is divided into 3 semesters: the first and second are separated by the Christmas holidays, the second and third are Easter. The summer holidays last for two months – July and August.
