What advice would you give to future applicants before applying to British schools and why?

Understand the school’s ethos and ensure it aligns with your goals. I would further advise students to prioritise their English language studies in preparation for the entrance testing phase.

When looking at applicants, we consider not only the academic record and entrance exam performance, but also students who not only excel academically but also demonstrate character and potential for growth.

Review about Fine Arts College London

Veronika M.
(15.04.2022)
I transferred to Fine Arts College from an American international school. In America, I didn't quite like the way the fine arts were taught at school. With directing, everything was fine, but painting seemed to not really interest anyone, and they looked at us as if we were doing something frivolous. I came across Fine Arts College by accident on the smapse website. After learning more about this institution, I decided to enroll here and am very pleased that I entered here. The school has excellent teachers who inspire by example and give a great level of freedom. Everyone communicates with students very respectfully, on an equal footing. It's very inspiring and motivating. I finally found the perfect place to paint!

Our daughter entered Fine Arts College after an unsuccessful attempt to go to study at a similar educational institution in Canada. To be honest, we are still a little surprised that there is so little information about this educational institution on the Internet. My daughter found it in discussions on some forum. They began to call agencies in St. Petersburg to find out more information. The agents, as it turned out, also knew little about this educational institution. Only the Smapse agency was able to give us more or less complete information about this college and offered to organize a Zoom meeting with a representative. My daughter was very happy to have the opportunity to talk, at the same time she asked about everything that interested her. After the interview, we decided that we would do it. Documents helped us to draw up quite quickly. For the longest time, the daughter prepared a portfolio - for a long time she could not choose a job for it) As for the college itself, this is an excellent option for studying painting. Other subjects here are given a little less attention than in ordinary general education private schools. But we are quite satisfied with this option.
