Education Center No. 1 in Tula was founded in 2012-2014 through the reorganization and merger of several educational institutions. Since 2012, the center has received the title of Humanitarian and Mathematical Lyceum named after I. Hero of Russia Gorshkov D.E. The lyceum has 8 educational buildings, which include the department of preschool education.

Preschool education (2 - 7 years): the program consists of the correct socialization of children, learning to interact in a group, teaching correct oral speech, developing fine motor skills.
Primary general education (7 - 10 years): educational program based on the study of basic subjects.
Basic general education (11 - 16 years old): a general education program, consisting of basic subjects and preparation for passing the OGE.
Secondary general education (17 - 18 years old): the main program, which includes basic subjects and in-depth study of disciplines for passing the exam.
SUMMER CAMP
Summer camp vouchers are awarded to students aged 7-15 years, whose parents / legal representatives have completed the application and received approval.
Submission of an application is accompanied by the following documents:
- Passport or other document proving the identity and place of residence of the applicant
- Birth certificate or passport of the child
- SNILS of the applicant
- SNILS child.
After approval for the travel permit, the parent / legal representative must provide:
- A copy of the passport or other document proving the identity and place of residence of the applicant (with the provision of the original)
- A copy of the child's birth certificate or passport (for children aged 14 and over) with the presentation of the original, if the copy is not notarized
- Document confirming the place of registration (residence) of the child
- A certificate from the polyclinic that the child needs spa treatment with an indication of the profile in the form No. 070 / y.

The Lyceum provides paid and reduced-price meals.
Free breakfasts:
- Students in grades 1-4
- Students in grades 5-11 from low-income families and families in difficult situations.
Free lunches:
- Disabled children
- Pupils from large families
- Students in grades 1-9, attending after-school groups and living in low-income families.
Replacement of hot meals with dry rations: disabled children schooled at home.
To receive reduced price meals, parents / legal representatives must fill out an application and provide certificates confirming their membership in the reduced category.

All school buildings are equipped with the necessary items and materials for learning, comfortable and safe. In the buildings of the lyceum there are two sports halls and a gym, on the territory there are a stadium and a gymnastic sports complex. The preschool buildings are equipped with:

Admission dates and extra charges
The academic year begins on September 1 and lasts 33 weeks for grades 1 and 34 weeks for grades 2-11. The duration of the school week is 6 days (Monday till Saturday) for grades 2-11 and 5 school days (Monday till Friday) for grade 1.
The duration of one lesson is 40 minutes.
Vacation:
- November 2-8
- December 28 - January 10
- February 8-14 (for 1 grade)
- March 23- 31.
Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol
For admission to any department of the lyceum, parents / legal representatives of the child must fill out an application and provide the following documents:
- Passport of a parent / legal representative of a child or a document proving the identity of a foreign citizen or stateless person in the Russian Federation
- Birth certificate of a child or for foreign citizens and stateless persons - a document proving the identity of the child and confirming the legality of the representation of rights
- Document confirming the establishment of guardianship (if necessary)
- Certificate of registration of the child at the place of residence or at the place of stay in the assigned territory
- Document of the psychological, medical and pedagogical commission (if necessary)
- Document confirming the need for training in a health-improving group (if necessary).
For admission to grade 10, you will need a copy of the certificate of completion of basic education.
