The College of Staten Island (CSI)is a public educational institution that is part of the 11 colleges of the City University of New York system. Facilities and equipment at CUNY College of Staten Island

Completed in 1994, Willowbrook's 204-acre landscaped CSI campus is the largest in New York City. It contains a well-developed network infrastructure to support technology-based teaching, learning and research. The campus is located in a park area in the center of Staten Island: woodlands, flowering trees and ornamental plantations, fields and outdoor sports facilities, magnificent lawn, sculptures and recreation areas create a rural oasis in an urban environment.

The educational building is equipped with:

  • More than 80 science labs, including the Center for Developmental Neuroscience and CUNY's Interdisciplinary Center for High Performance Computing (HPCC)

The CSI building in St. George is the second largest college building on the island. It houses ten fully equipped and spacious classrooms, including a modern computer lab and a comfortable living room. CSI students can attend events and eduaction sessions in both buildings.

Admission dates and extra charges

The CSI academic year consists of two semesters with separate summer and winter sessions. Classes are held according to the schedule on days, evenings and weekends.

  • August 25-end of December – autumn semester.

Holidays are held throughout the year on international, state and national holidays.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol

Applicants are required to:

SAT/ACT exams are not required.

For foreign students, copies of passports, proof of residence in the United States, a study visa will be required.
