Prices range from 760 € to 2000 € per week of study in a round-the-clock camp.

France language camps for children: study programs

Now let's figure out what the best summer children's language camps in France can offer for their students in addition to interesting history and attractions. Since the official state language in this country is French, then most of the courses are conducted on it (especially with regard to educational institutions of a national format). However, vacation linguistic schools and linguistic centers are of the international type of educational institutions, therefore, English study programs are also offered here.

In language schools and centers located in France, qualified teachers work with children, each has experience working with foreign students. Each of the teachers is a native speaker, therefore, he will be able to present the material at the highest level.

Language schools in France offer different types of study programs:

  • Only learning the language. This type of program includes an exclusively academic French course - without living or participating in the camp’s extracurricular program
  • Day language camp. Here, students are already joining the language school leisure program, including the academic part of the course.
  • Round-the-clock stay at the hostel. The most widespread and convenient format for foreign students, since it solves all comfort issues for visiting minor students: round-the-clock supervision of school personnel, studying, accommodation in a hostel, full three-day meals, participation in cultural and entertainment events of the vacation camp.

Please note that for participants in a linguistic course studying French or English, accommodation is possible not only in the student residence on the school grounds - there is still an option for the host French family. They are carefully selected by the school, and usually live near the campus - no more than half an hour by public transport.

The latter type of training can be represented by several more types of educational programs:

  • General French / English course. This is the standard program for learning foreign languages for most foreign schools in France and other countries abroad. Includes 15-20 academic hours each week in conjunction with the cultural program
  • Intensive language course. The program has a higher academic load (28 hours a week + lessons individually), and the rest is no different from a standard training course
  • Language + type of activity. A popular educational format for language schools, where in addition to a foreign language sports or creative activities are offered. In France, it can be a language plus diving / sailing / tennis / skiing or snowboarding - different language schools usually prefer one of these types of physical activity.

In addition to the varieties of academic programs for students of summer camps, various types of sports or creative activities are offered - usually after lunch, when language lessons have already been completed. Participation in joint activities outside the class (whether it be games, or joint creativity and needlework) gives children an opportunity to practice their knowledge in a relaxed atmosphere among peers. The territories of language training centers are usually well equipped, therefore, all the necessary conditions for interesting leisure are here.
