French language and sailing 

The Centre International d'Antibes Atoll Summer France (CIA) French language program allows you to learn French, meet children from all over the world, explore the world of sailing or improve your yachting technique in Antibes. The sailing component is supervised by the French Sailing Federation in the urban center of water sports.

The morning training program is suitable for young children and is held in groups of no more than 15 people.  Lessons include the study of basic grammar and the development of spoken language, develop confidence in the ability to express their thoughts in French. Most of the training takes place during educational events and seminars.

The standard course includes:

• 20 lessons of 45 minutes each,
• Maximum 15 students per module,
• From beginner to advanced level.

After the French lessons, participants will enjoy sailing from Monday to Friday, games in the pool, excursions on weekends, evenings on campus and the opportunity to be off campus in the evening with parental permission. The French and Sailing course also includes 2 hours of swimming from Monday to Friday at the Antibes Water Sports Centre!

Immersed in greenery, the campus offers classrooms, a self-service restaurant, a swimming pool and sports grounds. Spacious rooms with shower and sink can accommodate up to 3 students per room. A shuttle service is available to take students to the beaches or to the centre of Antibes.

The Leonardo De Vinci Campus is a huge modern campus located in a protected area, built on the edge of a large pine forest that offers fully equipped living spaces.

Children and teenagers are supervised from the moment they arrive at Nice Airport, Antibes Train Station or the campus reception. From now on, the leadership team will remain in place and will oversee permission to travel off campus.

French language and fitness, dancing

The Centre International d'Antibes Atoll Summer France (CIA) has partnered with a dance school in Antibes to create a "Special Dance and Fitness Classes" programme. The program is recommended for those who are engaged in dancing or fitness for at least a year.

The morning training program is suitable for young children and is held in groups of no more than 15 people. The course includes the study of basic grammar and the development of spoken language, most of the training takes place during educational events and seminars.

The standard course includes:

• 20 lessons of 45 minutes each,
• Maximum 15 students per module,
• From beginner to advanced level.

After french classes, students practice dance, fitness and yoga from Monday to Friday, visit the pool, excursions on weekends, spend evenings on campus and, at the request and permission of parents, go off campus in the evenings. This course includes two hours of dancing from Monday to Thursday.

In the program every week:

• Work on choreography,
• Participation in a cabaret show on campus on Thursday,
• Yoga on Fridays.

On weekends, there is a full-day tour of the Côte d'Azur.

General French course

• Lessons of 45 minutes,
• Classes of up to 12 people,
• Classes start every Monday, all year round,
• For any level of knowledge, from beginner to professional.

French courses are a versatile, effective way to learn French for students of any level and any purpose. Students can choose the format of this program that is convenient for them:

1. Standard French Course: 20 lessons in the morning (9:00-12:20), each = 45 minutes. The most popular course, suitable for starting, getting to know the French language or to improve your knowledge.
2. Standard PLUS French Course: 20 group + 4 private lessons per week. Personal lessons will significantly increase the intensity and depth, the effectiveness of language learning, giving you the opportunity to focus on the aspects that are most important to you.
3. Intensive French Course: 20 morning lessons + 10 afternoon lessons (9:00-12:20, until 16:00). Morning lessons are a universal course of French, written and oral speech, and afternoon classes are devoted to playing role-playing situations in mini-groups, constantly communicating, creating presentations.
4. Intensive PLUS French Course: 34 lessons per week – 20 group, 10 in mini-groups in the afternoon and 4 individual. The most intensive course, which will make it possible to significantly upgrade your knowledge and skills in the shortest possible time. A great option for motivated students who do not have a lot of time and want to "squeeze" the maximum out of the course!

French courses, activities and accommodation

• 20 language lessons per week,
• Accommodation in studio apartments.

Combined French programs are an opportunity to simultaneously improve your language knowledge / skills, and devote time to your hobbies and hobbies. Be careful: usually such options are not available in the high season (summer, from July to the end of August).

What options are offered to adult students:

• French + culture, gastronomy: +4 afternoon excursions or activities every week. These can be walks around the neighborhood with an English-speaking guide, visits to local cafes and restaurants, tastings, local markets, master classes in baking, honey selection, Grasse perfumery and much more.
• French + sport. A course for outdoor enthusiasts! After lunch, students will have 4 workouts per week under the guidance of professional trainers: running, kayaking, cross-fit, trail, mountain biking, cycling in the forest or along the coast, paddleboarding. Individual training is available on Wednesdays.
• French + meditation. In this course, you will learn a variety of techniques for relaxation, relaxation of the body and rest of the mind. 4 times a week, accompanied by a professional instructor, in an international group you will master useful practices - motor, breathing, yoga and Pilates, go on excursions to Nice and Esterel, attend tea ceremonies.
• French courses for older students (minimum booking is 2 weeks). The program is specially adapted for students 45+ years old: they are provided with a comfortable study of French, and recreation, entertainment, activities with their peers from all over the world: petanque games, cooking classes, tastings of local products and dishes, visits to the cinema and theater, Fragonard perfume master classes, walks in Cannes and Saint Paul de Vence, trips to Grasse, Monaco.

Family French Courses

The option to go on vacation with the whole family to the Cote d'Azur, have a great rest, find new friends of all ages and at the same time improve your French - isn't it ideal?

The program provides several options depending on the age of the children:

• 6-7 years old: morning lessons on weekdays (Fun activity mornings),
• 8-11 years old: Fun activity mornings, standard course with lunch or with lunch and evening activities,
• 12-17 years old: standard course (without accommodation) with lunch – and, if desired, with Activity almost until the evening.

The adult course is held at Le Château on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This is a versatile, effective course with smooth increases in difficulty, which will help you work with all language skills and knowledge:

• Vocabulary (vocabulary).

To increase the intensity, parents can add 4 additional lessons weekly (after lunch).

Summer French courses for adult students

• Students age: 18+ years,
• Intensity: 20-30 lessons per week,
• 1 lesson = 45 minutes,
• Classes of up to 12 people,
• Accommodation in the residence,
• The level to start is any, from Beginner to Advanced.

Learn French while on the Côte d'Azur!

This program is suitable for any student, with any level of knowledge: before the start of classes, all students undergo distributive testing and, as a result, study in groups with students with a similar level of knowledge. This is both a more comfortable and more effective option.

Classes are aimed at working out all significant language skills and abilities:

• Reading
• Speaking: fluency, literacy, accent correction,
• Listening comprehension (listening comprehension),
• Writing,
• Grammar
• Vocabulary (vocabulary).

Students can choose their own intensity - Standard (20 lessons before lunch) or Intensive (30 lessons weekly: 10 weekly lessons in the afternoon are added to the basic course, aimed at developing conversational skills).

Preparation for the DELF exam

• Intensity: 30 lessons per week,
• Classes of up to 12 people,
• 1 lesson = 45 minutes,
• Minimum duration = 6 weeks,
• An intermediate level of knowledge is recommended, but students with any (from Beginner) are accepted.

The DELF (Diploma d'Etudes en Langue Française) exam tests the level of French for those students for whom it is not native. It is designed for 4 levels according to the CEFRL scale: A1, A1, B1 and B2.

The program will work with all important, key language skills and knowledge:

• Reading
• Speaking: fluency, literacy, accent correction,
• Listening comprehension (listening comprehension),
• Writing,
• Grammar
• Vocabulary (vocabulary).

Strong emphasis is placed on communicative competencies, the study of useful methods of preparing for the exam, its structure and features. Written and oral verification tests are regularly practiced, similar to the real DELF, the teacher constantly checks the level of students' progress, homework. At least 4 times, students will write a full-fledged mock exam: it will not only help relieve stress (because it will already introduce you to the structure of testing), but also show weaknesses, where to direct closer preparation.

• Morning classes (9:00-12:20) with a 20-minute break,
• Afternoon lessons (14:00-16:00): active work with speaking and listening. Students participate in discussions, retellings of the text, work with TV and radio programs, play interactive role-playing games, etc.

Academic French 

• Intensity: 20-30 lessons per week,
• Classes of up to 12 people,
• 1 lesson = 45 minutes,
• Minimum duration = 24 weeks,
• An intermediate level (DELF B2) is recommended, but students with any (from Beginner) are accepted.

A special course for students (preferably with a confident knowledge of French) who plan to study in France and other French-speaking countries and universities need an academic direction of linguistics.

The program provides for both morning and evening lessons: evening lessons focus on communication skills (speaking and listening).

At the end of the course, students can take the DELF exams (for an additional fee), which are accepted as entrance exams to French universities.
