Economic education in schools in France

Education in French schools is subject to the stages defined by the Bologna process, and takes 12 years:

  • Primary education - 5 years
  • High School (College) - 4 years

Grandes Ecoles is a type of higher education institution that provides a prestigious ranking economic education. It’s not easy to enter, France has an individual approach to the selection of applicants, so just meeting the general requirements (certificate, level of language proficiency) will not be sufficient, entrance examinations are held in higher schools and competitive selection is in place. They have preparatory courses that significantly increase the students' chances of admission. Education in higher schools and preparatory courses for admission is paid.

In preparation for enrolling in an economics education program in France, applicants can also undergo a preparatory program of an international standard: Foundation , IB , etc., which will allow them to reduce the difference in knowledge in specialized disciplines, improve their language skills, and get comfortable in a foreign country.
