Let's talk about the rankings of UK boarding schools. What criteria are used to compile it? How accurate is it today?

Most of the rankings are based on exam results for a specific year: GCSEIBA-level. These rankings are pretty clear about how well a particular school prepares its students for exams - and parents appreciate it. However, one should not assume that a school-leader is suitable for absolutely everyone, even if this is a good sign for choice. Many schools pay great attention to preparing for the highest grades, fully covering the chosen subject: this prepares for successful studies at the university, for admission to the most prestigious and ranking universities. But it is equally important to prepare the student well for the transition from Sixth Form (which is still considered secondary education) to higher education. The ranking is a quick guide: I would advise you to apply to several schools, having previously personally visited them and formed a personal objective opinion. This will help you understand if a particular school is right for your child.

The program is aimed at providing preparation for entering higher institutions. In fact, the successful passage of the A-level is equated to the entrance exams at any university. Educational institutions around the world recognize the high educational standards of the A-level.

The content of the subjects is the same for all British schools. The two-year program is not designed to study a large number of subjects. Future applicants in the first year are only four disciplines, and in the second year the disciplines are reduced to three areas. Due to this, each subject is studied in detail, attention is paid to both theory and practical application. The college recommends to determine in advance with the necessary knowledge for the future profession and not to take objects close in content so as not to violate the academic balance.

Cambridge Tutors College has developed for the students at the A-level level courses of political science, mathematics (general and higher), chemical fundamentals, statistics (data analysis), accounting, law, business, physics, information science, history, biological knowledge, economics, literature (English), geography and economics. The main foreign language studied is French. From creative courses, students can explore trends in the development of design and art.

Review about Cambridge Tutors College

Oleg Z.
(review of Cambridge Tutors College)

Our son is studying a middle class program at Cambridge Tutors College. From the very beginning I planned to get a higher education in England. My friends advised to start as early as possible, transfer to the school abroad.

We addressed SMAPSE: friendly attitude and high-quality advice, there is no admission commission and a large selection of institutions. I take the GCSE course in Cambridge Tutors College: the reviews are excellent, rankings is high, and the location near London is still bribed, the same transfer is easier to organize.

Programs are complex, but the son likes it. For example, he plans to go to the microbiology departments, he focuses on biology and chemistry at school. There is a laboratory, and compositions, and examples for research, teachers are young, so that all information is up-to-date. It is convenient that the school not only cares about lessons, but in fact can take the child every day from and to: the son sends photos from various excursions, sports olympiads, entertainment, and all this is already included in the program. We did not have an English barrier, in general, we learn the language from the first grade.

In general, we very much hope that all the work will not be in vain and it will be possible to enter a good high school abroad - with Smapse, again, we have selected several prestigious options, in two years we will get documents and prepare.

(Parents of Daniel's son, 17 years old)

After we decided to send the child to the British university, the task was to prepare for admission - a school with an English bias and language courses are good, but a full stay in an English-speaking country is quite another matter.

My son was still in the school, and Smapse specialists immediately advised us about the A-level course. It's something like a senior class, studyign is more complex and deep. Moreover, you can choose subjects yourself. Plus, the A-level certificate is very much appreciated, and the child, most likely, does not even have to pass the entrance exams.

SMAPSE experts helped choose Cambridge Tutors College: reviews are excellent, high place in the national ranking, beautiful photos (looked directly on the site of Smapse), and London is located wuite near. We spent much time receiving a British visa, it was not so simple - but thanks to Nikolai from Smapse, who constantly explained difficult moments, helped to make out the documents. The company conducts enrollment and admission free of charge. My son is very pleased with his studies and the chosen college: although it is difficult for him, but he has become much more confident in his English. Now it's exactly possible to enter the British university!

I found out about SMAPSE from my school friend. He advised me to address it as his elder brother has already used the services of the company and gone to study in the UK.

I like the attitude to clients, besides the fact that all the necessary documents are collected for me, and at any time I can apply to employees on my questions. For example, with questions on admission to universities in the UK. I am grateful to SMAPSE experts for providing high-quality services and for their friendly attitude to clients and I will continue to cooperate with them.
