General English

  • Start of programs: year-round, on Mondays,
  • Level of knowledge: any - from Beginner (A1) to Advanced (C1),
  • Classes of up to 14 people,
  • Age: from 16 years old,
  • 1 lesson = 50 minutes.

A universal program for students with any initial level of knowledge is an ideal opportunity to quickly and effectively deepen your skills, even if you have not studied English before. All the main language aspects are being worked out:

  • Reading
  • Listening comprehension (listening comprehension of English),
  • Grammar
  • Vocabulary (vocabulary, including idioms and common expressions),
  • Oral speech (fluency, literacy),
  • Phonetics: accent correction, fluency, correct pronunciation.

The main assistants of the course are experienced teachers and useful teaching materials and manuals specially developed by National Geographic Learning. Activities in and out of the classroom, role-playing games and simulations help to improve speech and listening skills, "train the ear" to understand various accents, and broaden your horizons.

How will the General English course help you?

  • Acquire a wide vocabulary, including words and common phrases useful in daily communication, descriptions of the state and mood - you can easily communicate with any situation and with any interlocutor,
  • Learn useful academic principles - work and study that you can apply in the future,
  • Develop teamwork skills, creativity, presentation, critical and analytical thinking, skills in working in the digital space and with electronic sources,
  • Significantly improve fluency and literacy of speech, get rid of the accent (especially important if you have already studied English before and an unnecessary accent was able to "cling" to you),
  • Develop self-confidence - now you will be able to communicate in English not only in everyday life, but also with representatives of educational institutions, and with personnel officers when applying for a job,
  • Significantly deepen knowledge of grammar,
  • Learn a lot about different cultures, countries, traditions and customs, find friends from different parts of the world.

You can choose the intensity of the lessons yourself:

  • 20 lessons (16.6 hours per week),
  • 25 lessons = 20.8 hours,
  • 30 lessons = 35 hours weekly.

If desired, additional options can be added to the course:

  • Business English and Business Communications,
  • IELTS exam preparation,
  • Preparation for Cambridge exams.

The price of the course includes:

  • Access to a personal school e-account,
  • Distribution test on the first day,
  • Useful communicative workshops, conversation and thematic clubs,
  • Reports on your progress (personal conversation every 4 weeks),
  • A company certificate of completion of the program and a report on your achievements.
