Description of Ecole d'Humanité

The well-known Swiss school-boarding school Ecole d'Humanité is located in the beautiful and picturesque area of the Alps: here students can enjoy the pure mountain air, beautiful landscapes, use all natural opportunities for recreation, sports, walks and recreation all year round. The school professes the principle of unity with nature, typical for most educational institutions in Switzerland, and besides, it introduces into the educational process some innovative techniques.

For example, in the Ecole d'Humanité school there is no accustomed evaluation system - pupils' work and performance are assessed here by exposing their work and prescribing detailed characteristics: each work (independent, control and examination, research) receives a detailed  and objective feedback. Students can always talk with teachers, discuss their strengths and weaknesses, get valuable recommendations and advice on further development - this significantly increases self-confidence, motivation for high achievements, and the effectiveness of study in general. In addition to teachers, their own learning process is also summarized by students - it helps to look objectively and impartially at their successes, to understand in what direction it is possible to move and improve further.

The core of the Ecole d'Humanité philosophy is formed around an unshakable belief in the uniqueness and identity of each student. The main goal of teachers is not just to put knowledge in the minds of students, but to ignite in them a passion for self-improvement and self-education, to lay a persistent motivation to achieve personal goals, to reveal personal potential, talents.

Classes are deliberately formed in small, only 4-10 people: this is useful for teachers (gives maximum time and attention to each student) and for students (they have the opportunity to work effectively, to express their opinion, to actively participate in class activities). In general, the campus reigns benevolent, family atmosphere, where everyone feels special, unique, valuable and loved.
