Summer Active English

Short information about a special summer course, allowing you to spend your holidays with profit. The combined program is aimed at students wishing to combine instruction and cognitive, active leisure in Hertfordshire.

A course lasting 1 to 11 weeks provides for the study of general English at a medium-intensive rate. Every day, 4 lessons are offered to students. In the classroom, students improve their knowledge of grammar, supplement their vocabulary, practice reading, listening, and writing. The subjects of classes can be different. Priority topics are discussed by the teacher and students before the beginning of the course. The materials from the media and the press are predominantly for consideration. A practical English course provides a special approach to language learning.

Summer Active English is not limited to academic studies. It includes many entertaining and sporting events. Students of the course can visit the sections of football, cricket, rugby, volleyball, go swimming. Creative persons are offered mugs and clubs of design, art (including jewelry).

The course is different and extensive excursion program. Two excursions are offered per week to students. Priority areas are the university cities of Britain, as well as famous sights like Stonehenge.

Active English Autumn

Short information about the autumn English course, which allows you to update the language skills, to improve your skills and get to know the British culture, traditions.

Active English Autumn - a program is designed for 1 - 3 weeks. The daily load of students is 4 academic sessions and two optional courses. English is studied by the communicative method. Topics for discussion in the lessons are taken in the current press, electronic media. It is also possible to focus on the problems that are exciting for a particular group of students. Students can take part in the choice of the subject of lessons, this is stipulated by the rules of studying on Active English Autumn.

In the classroom, students develop standard language skills. One lesson a day is devoted to reading, writing, communication, grammar. The studying continues beyond the walls of the classrooms. At elective classes, during entertaining and educational activities, students in a relaxed atmosphere improve their skills, fix the material they have traversed.

The program provides the opportunity to visit creative circles and sports sections. The students of the course can without any restrictions use the school infrastructure for developing purposes.

The excursion block is incuded in the program,. in particular it is:

• Visits to university cities in Britain;
• Sightseeing of interesting sights in the city, county;
• Acquaintance with London.

Excursions are of a learning nature. In the course of them, students are invited to perform a number of simple and interesting tasks, allowing to consolidate the material that has been passed.

This is a unique opportunity to study at two prestigious schools in the UK at once: children start studying at Badminton School, and then move to St Albans (transfer between schools (on Saturdays) is already included in the price).

• A week at St Albans is a safe, relaxed accommodation in the suburbs of London, giving students all the opportunities and virtues of the British capital.
