The school is located in Dunbar, a 40-minute walk from the center of the Scottish capital, on a picturesque coast in the middle of a park. It was founded in 1923 and boasts a long and rich history. However, they are not going to focus on the past here: today it is one of the best boarding schools in Edinburgh and Scotland of co-education, offering both a full-time section and a boarding school for children aged 7 to 13 years. The school is well equipped and offers a rich sports program, including rugby, cross-country, hockey and cricket, tennis and athletics exercises, as well as swimming in an outdoor heated pool (or an indoor pool within dunbar).

Music and performing arts classes are an important activity; all students can take part in concert activities or performances year-round. Classes and electives are held in a new modern complex, which can offer classes as part of a folk or academic choir, musical groups of various directions under the supervision of experienced and professional personnel. 90% of schoolchildren play one or more musical instruments.

A non-refundable fee of £500 and a deposit of £750 will be charged at check-in to confirm registration for the following year.

There are no formal requirements and entrance tests. The decision on admission is made on the basis of an informal interview.

Scholarships Belhaven Hill Private School

Belhaven Hill School was founded as an educational charity, so the Board of Governors set the task of making education here accessible to everyone, regardless of the financial situation of the family.

The school provides the opportunity to receive a scholarship to pay for tuition, the discount can be up to 100%. The basis for appropriation is a means test, taking into account such factors as family income, financial stability and others. For evaluation, the school resorts to an independent audit. Scholarships are checked annually for neediness, and their amount may be revised depending on changes in the financial situation of the family.

Along with the scholarship, there are other forms of support. To help students cope with the additional costs, the school created the Eagle Foundation. Scholarship recipients can seek assistance in covering additional costs in order to keep up with their peers. Such costs may include (but are not limited to) the following: uniform fees, travel to and from school, extracurricular activities, school excursions, etc.
