Belarusian-Russian University (BRU) was founded in 1961 and is an interstate higher education institution of joint education of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation and has the status of a state university of both countries.
Currently, BRU is a large regional scientific and educational center, which includes a university, a lyceum, an architectural and construction college, an institute for advanced education and retraining of personnel.
