Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) is a private non-profit educational institution founded in 1900 in the city of Houston (USA). In 1900, a small group of dedicated doctors and community leaders founded a medical school in Dallas to improve medical practice in North Texas. The university began its academic activities on July 12, 1943, accepting 131 students for study. Four years later, the college moved to a new location - the Roy and Lilly Cullen building, the first building built at the new Texas Medical Center. In the ranking lists of the United States, the Baylor College of Medicine is ranked 118 in the national rating, and among the best institutions of higher education in the world, BCM takes 569 positions.

BCM is a small-sized educational institution. There are only about 1,500 students enrolled in it, with 13% of the student community being representatives of other countries of the world. The teaching staff of the university is represented by experienced teachers and is more than two thousand teachers.
