The College of Continuing Education in Basingstroke was founded in 1991. Now it has three campuses - North, South and STEM, included in the list of Centers of Professional Excellence of the United Kingdom.

If a student is interested in a new career and acquiring a degree, Access courses will be an excellent help for him on the way to success. This one-year intensive course will provide the necessary qualifications and introductory knowledge, increase academic skills and skills to the desired level.

For admission, the applicant must pass the GCSE in English and Mathematics at level C/4 or higher or functional skills level 2.

T-Levels

T-Levels is a state-of-the-art qualification designed to provide student advantages on their way to ambitious goals. An excellent solution for those who have graduated from GCSE and are in a hurry to apply the knowledge gained in practice for work, higher education or apprenticeship!

The two-year qualification, equivalent to three A-levels, combines classroom instruction and extended practice on a course developed in collaboration with the best businesses and employers. You will spend 80% of your time in the classroom, while the remaining month and a half will be devoted to an internship with an employer, which will help consolidate the theory and apply it in practice.

The qualification was developed with the participation of leading companies to provide their potential staff with the necessary skills and competencies - a total of over 250 corporations of international and national level.

At the end of the program, graduates will receive a state-recognized certificate demonstrating an overall score - from passing to outstanding with honors, as well as containing detailed information about your qualifications.

The college offers T certificates in three areas:

  • Education and childcare (primary school and pre-school education);
  • Engineering (production, management, processing and control);
  • Health care (pediatrics).

The college offers a wide range of higher education programs , from courses to HNC and bachelor's degrees. Courses are offered in a higher education package, which will allow you to obtain the proper qualifications quickly, efficiently and with the maximum level of support from the educational institution, and then move on to the programs necessary to obtain the relevant degree, or to look for a job in a given field.

The most prestigious and respected universities of the country are involved in the preparation of students within the framework of the relevant qualifications. Thus, the engineering program is carried out in collaboration with the University of Portsmouth, and in the field of pediatrics - with the University of Reading.

Classes are held in 3 semesters:

Enrolment process

The admission process consists of several stages:

  1. Registration on the site, filling out and sending an application;
  2. Consideration of the application by the admission committee. If questions arise at this stage, the administration of the educational institution will contact the applicant;
  3. In case of success, the applicant receives a conditional offer, which will be based on predicted assessments;
  4. After receiving the results of the GCSE, it is necessary to select a course and confirm the registration;
  5. Finally, after completing registration and application, students should attend introductory lectures and begin classes.
