  • Established: 1867
  • Location: Aberdeen, Scotland
  • Students age: 2 to 18 years old
  • Language of instruction: English

Albyn School is a private high school that provides full-cycle secondary education for students from 2 to 18 years of age: in the format of full-time education or with full board.

Initially, Albyn School was an institution founded in 1867 only for girls, and over 150 years of work has become an independent co-educational institution, one of the leading in Scotland. Currently, Albin School does not cease to develop and expand its territory, opening new laboratories and other buildings.

Today, the educational structure of the school includes the following levels of education: several educational departments at the preschool stage, junior and high school. At each of the last two levels of secondary education, Albyn School students spend 6-7 years.

The preschool department of Albyn School is formed of three levels:

  • Nursery for babies (2-3 years)
  • Children's younger group (3-4 years)
  • Children's preschool group (4-5 years old).

The living rooms themselves have a private bathroom and the necessary furniture for each of the guests (bed, desk, wardrobes and bedside tables). When living in a residence, the price includes meals.

The food Albyn School offers its students is a healthy diet with a variety of dishes. Since the school has its own cook, which prepares for children, the local cuisine is ready to adapt the menu to the dietary or allergic needs of students. For breakfast, fruit, toast, pancakes or cereals are usually offered, for lunch and dinner - a choice of soup, bread, and the second (fresh fish or meat). For an afternoon snack - jelly or yogurt.
