The Wentworth Institute of Technology (WIT) is a private university of engineering and engineering in Massachusetts.  The institution was opened as a school of mechanical arts in 1904 with donated funds from Arioja Wentworth. Since 2009, Wentworth has become an institution awarding a master's degree with full accreditation of programs, and in 2017 received university status.

Residential complexes divide students according to the level of education.

For freshmen, there are several housing options with a semester price:

  • Baker Hall: hostels for $ 6060.
  • Evans Way/Tudbury: suites with multiple bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room – $5773-$6745.
  • LEAP Residential Communities: Five buildings for leaders, sustainability communities, athletes, and wellness enthusiasts.

For those who study in senior courses, suites are prepared in several buildings with a cost per semester:

Activities Wentworth Institute of Technology

WIT sports teams play in intercollegiate, regional competitions under the nickname "Leopards".The institution is a member of the NCAA Division III, participates in the Commonwealth Coast Conference.

Facilities and equipment at Wentworth Institute of Technology

The campus is located in Boston's Fenway neighborhood of 31 acres. Within walking distance of the academic buildings are cultural, educational and sports centers – access to the most innovative and fastest growing companies in the Northeast.

On the campus there are 15 buildings of administrative offices and faculties, which have:

Admission dates and extra charges

The academic year is divided into semesters:

  • Autumn: September-December
  • Spring: January-May
  • Summer: May-August.

The choice of the program depends on the form of study: full-time, online or combined, as well as the duration of training, the number of semesters and classes per week. During each semester there are holidays, weekends.

The requirements for local applicants are almost the same, with the exception of certification of language knowledge.

You can apply during the year, enrollment will occur at the beginning of the next semester.
