The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh (UW Oshkosh) is a public university with three campuses in Wisconsin.

UW Oshkosh's main campus was opened in Oshkosh in 1871 as a teacher educational school. In the early years of its existence, this institution was advanced in teacher education and the first such school to have a kindergarten department in the country. Tuition was free for anyone who wanted to teach in Wisconsin's public schools.

To date, the university is under the leadership of Chancellor Andrew J. Smith. Livitta. UW Oshkosh is the third largest institution in the state, and its inmate population reaches nearly 15,000 on and off campus.

All degree programs can be completed 100% online. Each course has assignments and deadlines, but there is no structured "class time." As a result, students can plan their study time and work at school taking into account life events.

89% of freshmen live in ten dormitories. Students are offered furnished rooms of different capacities, showers and toilets are shared. Price per academic year:

  • "Titan Nights" – dances, animators, contests with prizes and free catering. It takes place in September-November, February-April.
  • Project "Strengthening" - invited speakers conduct seminars and master classes, captivating and expanding the horizons of students.
  • "Taste of Nations" - once a month throughout the year there is a holiday of diversity of cultures, nationalities and traditions of different countries.
  • "Service on Saturday" - every year on October 15, students, teachers and employees are engaged in volunteer activities, social work in public organizations.
  • Alternative vacations are a project dedicated to social work during breaks between classes. Students spend time in helping organizations and interact with people, which allows them to experience, understand and discuss social problems in a more comprehensive way.
  • The Winter Carnival takes place on March 9-10 to celebrate the end of winter. Students carve ice sculptures, play quizzes, come to the award ceremony.

The sports direction at the university is quite developed - athletes perfectly show their skills from year to year, taking first place in competitions of different levels. The most visited areas of sports are team games, including football, basketball, volleyball, badminton and tennis.
