University of Westminster is considered to be the first polytechnic university in Britain, founded in 1838 and located in the heart of London. The Polytechnic Institute became a university in 1992. Today it is an innovative, modern university, which offers a wide variety of educational programs and specialties, supports the intercultural atmosphere and equality of all students, cosmopolitanism. The total number of students reaches 22,000 people, of which 5,000 are foreign students representing 150 world states. Administration of the University of Westminster is deservedly proud that the university is considered to be one of the most popular among foreign students. It was within the walls of this university that the first paid movie show (the first in Britain!) was held, the first European photo studio was opened.

The University is deservedly proud of the widest list of academic programs, specialties and areas: many of the courses presented have practically no analogues in other universities. It is also worth noting that Westminster University maintains close partnerships with many leading industrial companies, banks and financial organizations, and trade firms: this enables students to pass valuable practice and internship while learning to adapt to the real world market. Very popular and so-called "sandwich courses": in addition to the classical undergraduate program in the chosen direction, they include a one-year paid internship - the graduates become qualified, experienced workers in demand on the world labour market.

The structure of Westminster University includes several campuses:

• Harrow

One of the most modern buildings in London, an innovative, recently renovated campus. Here are the faculties of design, media and art.

• Marylebone

The central campus in the heart of London was built in 2010-2012, because it has the most modern architecture and equipment, innovative technical equipment and spacious classrooms. Here students study under the programs of architecture and business.

• Little Titchfield Street

The recently reconstructed campus includes the largest university library with reading and computer rooms, as well as a huge law faculty.

• Regent

Located on one of the central streets of London - the prestigious, respectable and lively Regent Street. The campus is distinguished by an excellent large center for students (Student Union), excellent recreation areas and modern computer classes. Sport plays an important role in the life of the university. Back in 1883, a student track and field team was opened here, which for a long time was the largest national team in the country. In 1908, the University of Westminster organized the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympic Games, for many years the university has presented the Study Trophy award to swimmers, boxers and cyclists, but athletics is considered the strongest direction at the university. There are many professional athletes and Olympic medalists among the graduates of the university:

Since 2004, a student radio has been operating at the university, which has received several awards; since 2011, it has launched its own channel, on which students of media and journalism faculties hone their professional skills.

For students, all conditions for convenience are provided. There is a large library and hostel. In addition, an institution of higher education is developing all the time, as evidenced by its entry into scientific groups and elite associations.

The undergraduate program lasts 3 years ("sandwich courses" - 4 years, read more in the program description): classes begin in September, therefore the documents must be submitted before May 30. Master's theses take only a year (12 months): you can start in September or in exceptional cases in January, the documents are accepted until July 15.

The cost of accommodation and meals is additionally paid.

The requirements for applicants are naturally different depending on the chosen program:

1) Undergraduate:

• Age of students - from 18 years
• Submission of documents - until May 30
• Level of English - IELTS from 6.0 and above.

2) Master:

• Age of students -  21 years
• The submission of documents is by July 15
• The level of English is IELTS 6.5 and above.

Each future student must also prepare the following documents:

• Motivation letter
• Summary and letters of recommendation from teachers / employers
• Completed registration form
• Certificate or diploma with assessment table (translated into English and certified by a notary).

The university offers good scholarships to international students who meet three criteria:
