The University of West London draws on over 150 years of teaching and professional education experience. In 1860, Lady Byron's School (later University of West London) was founded through the merger of Ealing College of Higher Education, Thames Valley College of Higher Education, London College of Music and Queen Charlotte College of Medical Research. In 1991, Lady Byron's School was renamed West London Polytechnic. Payment of the full amount of the remaining contribution / payment of half of the remaining amount is made before or at enrollment, and the other half of the remaining amount is divided into three equal payments paid during the school year.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol

The University of West London accepts applications from foreign students with certificate that match the UK qualifications for undergraduate studies (e.g. A-level). It is possible to immediately enroll in a 2 or 3 undergraduate course if your qualifications are higher than the equivalent of A-level.

What certificates are accepted from applicants applying for a bachelor's degree:

  • Diploma of secondary vocational education (advanced level and basic level)
  • British A-level (from 112 UCAS points, depending on the course)
  • IB Diploma (minimum 25 points depending on the course)
  • Admission to the second and final year of undergraduate studies is available to those with a Higher National Degree (HND) from the UK.

Requirements for admission to the magistracy:

  • Bachelor degree.

Requirements for admission to the Integrated Foundation Year:

  • Certificate (certificate of secondary general education) with a good mark.

English language requirements - minimum IELTS 5.5 in each of four separate components (reading, writing, speaking and listening). IELTS tests must be taken at a UKVI approved testing center.

Scholarships University of West London

  • If you are an undergraduate student entering full-time in September, you can apply for one of 400 undergraduate scholarships in the amount of £ 1,500.
  • If you graduated from the University of West London undergraduate studies in January 2021 or summer 2021, you will be eligible for a £ 2,000 discount on your postgraduate studies in September 2021.
  • If you graduated in 2020 or earlier and wish to enroll in graduate school in 2021, you will be eligible for a £ 500 discount.
  • If you are a foreign full-time undergraduate or graduate student, you are eligible to apply for one of the International Ambassador Scholarships. As an "International Ambassador" you will meet other international students through a scheme and will be asked to help showcase UWL to applicants, including helping at open days, participating in interviews, videos, photo sessions with the marketing department, or visiting international students. Discount up to £ 5000 for the first year of study.
  • The Alistair Telfer Prize is available to international full-time undergraduate or postgraduate students at Geller College of Hospitality and Tourism, London. The amount of the scholarship is £ 1000.
  • The UWL Aspire Scholarship is available for undergraduate students starting a course in September. Books and funds are provided to help with tuition costs. Funds are provided in the form of an Aspire Card that can be used at John Smith's student online store. You do not need to submit a separate application.
