UNA Student Relations Office provides students with the opportunity to improve their leadership skills, gain additional experience in more than 140+ clubs and organizations, including:

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol

List of documents:

  • Application (online)
  • Diploma and transcripts - a notarized copy of the secondary education certificate, transcript, bachelor's degree (for admission to the magistracy). All transcripts must be certified.
  • A statement of purpose that covers the following topics: personal experience, academic interest, career, volunteer experience, why you want to study in the USA, why you chose UNA.
  • Banking letter and bank support affidavit.
  • Original letter or financial statement in English on official bank letterheads of a bank or other financial institution with which the student or sponsor has an account. The letter must indicate a specific amount of funds: the minimum amount is $ 25,000 for graduate students.

If a parent or other sponsor is providing funds for a student, a letter from the sponsor with a bank statement must be provided. The letter should include:

  • Full name and date of birth of the student
  • Sponsor's full name and student relationship
  • Sponsor's contact information, including address, telephone number and email address, if any
  • A statement that the sponsor can and intends to provide tuition fees, accommodation, meals, and other student expenses throughout the student's program.

Some graduate programs require a GRE, GMAT or MAT test before admission:

  • GMAT = 450 (V = 150, Q = 148) (MBA)
  • GRE = 800/286 (V = 150, Q = 148) (MVA)
  • MAT = 388 or combined verbal / quantitative 800 (art and science).

Postgraduate entrance examinations:

  • Students who do not speak English are admitted to the ESL UNA program, pass the mandatory ESL entrance exam.
  • MBA applicants must enroll in the Graduate Academy of Business Administration to work on prerequisites for the MBA program and complete the required graduate entrance test.

Knowledge of the language is required for all international students: they provide a test score from a recognized agency or take the UNA English as a Second Language program.

Scholarships University of North Alabama

The University of North Alabama offers scholarships ranging from $ 3,000 to $ 6,000 per year to cover tuition fees for qualified international students. The scholarship is paid in two equal installments in the fall and spring semesters.

Academic English students receive a free textbook scholarship for all AEP courses. The duration of the Academic English program is two semesters.

All newly admitted students in the fall of 2020 will receive a low online rate - 50% of the tuition fees of non-residents. In the first semester, you will receive 3 credit hours for free if you sign up for at least 6 credit hours.
