The University of Divinity was founded in 1910 as the Melnburg College of Divinity on the basis of an act of the Victorian Parliament. The first issue came in 1913. In 2011, the educational institution was awarded the status of higher, which means the possibility of assigning bachelor, master and doctoral degrees.
