The University of Murcia has two campuses: La Merced (the main campus located in the city center) and the larger one - Espinardo (this campus is located 5 km to the north), where most of the students live in student dormitories. The university also has two extensive libraries with more than half a million books and about 10,000 scientific journals, which can be found in any of the 3,000 reading areas. The Antonio de Nebrija Library is located on the La Merced campus. In addition, the European Documentation Center is located in the main library in Espinardo.

On the basis of the school there are sports halls, football and rugby grounds, football fields, aerobic and weight halls, a gym, tennis courts and squash courts, training grounds, a climbing wall and an indoor pool.
