Architecture programs can be found at multidisciplinary universities and architecture schools. The US departments of architecture contribute greatly to the development of the industry. MIT scientists developed the first CAD program for architects, the prototype for Google Street View. According to the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture in the United States, there are about 130 public and private universities with an architectural degree in the country. Architecture covers a variety of areas - urban planning, interior design, landscape design and many others.

A prerequisite for the admission of applicants wishing to enter a higher school with an architectural bias is artistic ability, good preparation in the field of mathematics and geometry.
