Summer vacations in Florence University of Arts are able to present an unforgettable experience of living and studying in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, in Florence. The city is a true pearl of Italian and European culture, an entire open-air museum, almost entirely a monument of the Renaissance: it was here that once worked Machiavelli, Michelangelo, Dante and Leonardo da Vinci, it was here that the legendary dynasty Medici was born. Florence stores about 1/5 of the world's cultural values: there are countless museums, galleries, palaces and temples, a huge number of paintings, sculptures and frescos. Today, Florence has an excellent modern infrastructure, which is perfectly combined with the historical appearance of the city: there are cafes and restaurants, theaters and cinema, clubs and bars - there is hardly an attractive place for connoisseurs of art and culture, gourmets and creative personalities.
Summer programs in that kind of universities in Italy accept students from around the world at the age of 12 years. Summer courses are balanced, harmoniously combine the study of the chosen art form with familiarity with Italian cuisine and history. A large number of excursions around the city and all of Tuscany are organized. The university is proud of the qualifications and experience of its teachers - among them there are many artists, historians and professors, world-renowned critics who are ready to transfer to students a piece of their enthusiasm, love for Italy and art in general. For the preparation of the curriculum, each student of the Florence University of Arts chooses two courses from the presented list, for each of which 4 lessons are provided per week (2 hours per day). Each course is taught and supervised by the professors of the Palazzi International Education Association. Most of the classes are not in classes, but in a direct trip through Florence, in museums and on the territory of historical monuments - almost the whole city turns into a school. Schoolchildren can personally explore the legendary cultural and historical sites, make a variety of high-quality photographs and graphic sketches, learn architecture, sculpture, rules of composition.

MARKETING IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY
A course of full-time study allows you to immerse yourself in a world of high fashion. Students will learn how to create legendary brands, what needs to be done to achieve the peaks of mastery and retain leadership positions. We study the history and concepts of the most famous fashion houses and designers (emphasis is on Italian masters), advertising and marketing strategies, which create a recognizable and popular name.
DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Day course is designed for fans of photography, amateurs and professionals. You will learn a lot about the most innovative technologies of shooting, different styles, learn to see non-standard things in the usual things and images, to create and capture new meanings, to catch and perpetuate the most vivid and unique moments. A huge number of exercises are organized, students attend lectures and discussions, seminars and creative meetings, work on excursions and walks around the city. It is studied both the traditional history of photo art, and modern ways and techniques. Several classes are devoted entirely to mastering the art of colour correction and retouching, the ability to exhibit a composition.
To participate the students will need to have a personal camera (at least 8-10 megapixels, optical zoom, not less than three times).
ITALIAN LANGUAGE COURSES
A day course is aimed at developing the knowledge and skills of spoken Italian. We also study written language, improving listening and reading skills, but the main emphasis is still on developing communication skills, fluent and competent oral speech. Students learn different grammatical and syntactic structures, significantly expand their vocabulary. The studying is conducted in a thematic aspect, through the consideration of facts from the history and culture of Italy. It is possible to attend classes both for beginners (elementary level) and for students who studied Italian (middle level) early.
HISTORY OF ART
Evening introductory courses in the history of European and Italian art are offered to foreign students. Starting from Ancient Greece, students will move to the heyday of the Roman Empire and continue the study until the 18th century inclusive. The main attention is paid to the study of Italian and specifically Florentine art, several lessons will be devoted entirely to the Renaissance. This program is suitable even for students who have not previously studied the history of art and do not have specific knowledge and skills. Classes are conducted not so much in the classroom (where computer and multimedia equipment is actively used), as in the streets and museums of Florence, while viewing architectural, historical and cultural monuments, visiting palaces and temples.
ITALIAN CUISINE
Evening courses. Italian cuisine is one of the most loved and popular in the whole world: it combines a great variety of regional features, traditions and innovations, and is distinguished by its special ingredients and seasonings. The program includes both classical lectures and practical master classes and tastings: each cooking lesson learns a certain dish, its recipe, ingredients, their importance and the principle of using the original seasoning. Students prepare dishes according to classical recipes, try them and compare them, better understanding the traditions and culture of Italians, their national characteristics and temperament.
Accommodation, meals, prices
Florence University of Arts students are provided with seats in the cozy residence of Convitta della Calza - double rooms with private bath, towels and bed linen are provided. There is always an administrator on duty who can help solve any questions that arise, order additional excursions, suggest interesting places for visits and routes.
Meals are organized according to the half-board principle: students have breakfast and dinner at the residence, and lunch and dinner can be ordered at the numerous snack bars, cafes, bars and restaurants, giving a special tribute to the unique Italian and Tuscan cuisine.

In addition to other recreational activities, students at Florence University of Arts can take walks through Florence, explore its innumerable sights and monuments, make memorable photosets and buy souvenirs.
Tastings of famous Italian cuisine, cinema, teaters, opera and concerts, various performances, fascinating walks and excursions to hidden, unknown places in Florence, karaoke nights, visiting Sunday fairs are offered to foreign students. Also free time can be given to sports activities: yoga, football, swimming, bicycle, bocce (ball game for the development of accuracy, in something similar to bowling), etc. For students, unforgettable cruises on the Arno River, discos, competitions and quizzes, a talent parade are organized.
