Learning is in small groups based on age: 10-12, 13-15 and 16-18 years old. Each class learns topics that are interesting to them and appropriate to their level of knowledge. All students spend a lot of time together: living in residence, campus events allow you to get to know each other better, make friends, and exchange impressions. English Summer Course

  • Age – from 10 to 18 years old,
  • Level of knowledge – from B1 to C1,
  • Start dates are every Saturday,
  • The duration of the training is from two to four weeks.

The academic program offered during the summer months at the Stowe campus combines intensive English classes with exciting campus, off-site activities. Thanks to the course, students will be able to get an unforgettable experience of international study, plunge into the study of England and its peculiarities, improve their knowledge and make new friends.

Upon admission, students are divided into groups based on age: 10-12, 13-15, 16-18 years old. Each week, students can expect:

  • Four English lessons per day (12 hours per week) aimed at developing general skills: reading, writing, grammar, pronunciation, listening and speaking, and vocabulary. Classes are held in small groups of 7-10 people, which allows children to receive individual attention from the teacher and practice speaking in a team.
  • 16 workshops (12 hours per week) – lectures on a variety of topics, from discussing the sights of the UK to thinking about your future,
  • Daily campus activities: intellectual and sports games, creative workshops, recreation with watching movies, talent shows, and others,
  • Weekend outings with visits to the sights of London, Oxford.

The program includes accommodation in a comfortable residence, three meals a day, and comprehensive support for staff and teachers.

Accommodation, meals, prices

Students are accommodated in a comfortable residence with single and double rooms and bathrooms. When choosing to live together, children who are similar in age and gender, but different in nationality, are selected for a double bedroom - this approach will make the living experience of students richer and more diverse. Boys and girls definitely live in different rooms.

Pupils are provided with three meals a day, which are served every day in the dining hall. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are prepared according to a balanced menu of fresh products that meet all norms and rules. If the child has special dietary, medical, religious needs, the kitchen staff will provide alternative meals.

A varied leisure program offers students an active pastime both on and off campus. On weekday evenings, students devote time to sports and creative activities:

  • At night, the West End will help you experience the vibrant street culture, enjoy musical performances: "Matilda", "The Lion King", "Wicked" and others, considered one of the best in the world.
  • Optional excursions: Harry Potter studio tour, trip to the entertaining Thorpe Park.

The Stowe campus is located close to London and Oxford, just an hour's drive from Heathrow International Airport. The 750-acre study area offers amazing conditions for learning and recreation:

The distance from the campus to Buckingham is four miles, to Oxford and London is 25 and 60 miles, respectively.

Admission dates and extra charges

Programs at Stowe usually take place in July-August, the duration of programm will be from two to four weeks at the request of the student. Students live on a strict schedule that includes time to get up and go to bed, visit the dining hall, academic classes and free hours, excursions and campus activities.

Many services are included in the tuition fee: accommodation, meals, entertainment, entrance fees to events, comprehensive support, study materials, and others. In addition, students will have to pay for transfers, individual expenses (pocket), and some field trips.

Enrolment process

The admission procedure consists of simple registration steps:

  • Selection of the program, clarification of requirements, conditions and availability of vacancies,
  • Submission of the application and required documents,
  • Making a deposit to book a place on the program,
  • Receiving an official invitation,
  • Arrival on campus: passing a short entrance test, assigning to classes, accommodating in residence and starting your studies.

The courses start every Saturday.

Enrolment statistics

The number of new students is limited by the capacity of the campus - no more than 120 students can stay on it at a time. Admission is carried out on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the full package of required documents and level of knowledge.
