A small but respected and popular private school- St. Marks School was founded in 1865 - of course, like many other educational institutions, it was initially intended only for young men. Today, an institution in the suburbs of Boston has already fully switched to a mixed system (girls are admitted to courses since the mid-1970s): approximately 400 people from 14 to 18 years study here, 21% of them are foreign students from around the world.

Foreign students are admitted to St. Mark's School from the age of 14 only for full board, the daytime education for them is closed. The Admission Committee will need the following documents:
- Completed application form;
- Receipt for payment of the admission fee;
- SSAT and TOEFL test results;
- Minimum 3 characteristics and letters of recommendation from the previous place of education - from teachers, class teacher, director;
- Additional - a creative portfolio, any awards, certificates and regalia for academic / creative / sports / social achievements.
