St. Gilgen International School is a secondary school (full-time course and boarding school) that accepts children from around the world from 9 to 18 years old (the total number of students reaches 250 people). During the summer months, an international children's camp operates on campus with interesting combined programs.

Teachers and school staff are constantly on duty: they monitor the order, discipline and cleanliness, provide round-the-clock safety for children.
Meals are organized on the full board basis in a spacious common dining room: the diet is varied, perfectly balanced and includes dishes of international and local cuisine. Every day a variety of salads, soups, hot dishes are served, vegetarian or diet meals can be organized on request.

In their free time (usually the afternoon hours and weekends) students are given various opportunities for leisure and recreation. You can go hiking or climbing in the mountains, swim in the canoe or kayak lake, ride bicycles, visit the water park or swim on the lake. Also, long trips with overnight stays in the Alpine foothills, excursions and educational tours in Salzburg are arranged.
