The program for future business leaders (Business and Enterprise Program)

  • Age of students: 16-18 years
  • Dates: 1-28 of July.

The program is designed specifically for senior students (16-18 years) who plan to study business areas at the university. The summer course will effectively develop their academic and language skills in a particular environment, improve leadership skills and teamwork skills, present experience of interaction in the international, international community. The program includes seminars and lectures in the following areas:

  • business
  • economy
  • finance (income and value of the product, business ideas)
  • principles of accounting and auditing
  • basic economic models
  • marketing
  • business ethics
  • Business English
  • principles of human resources management, personnel work, creation of sustainable motivation for employees

The course also includes elements of healthy competition: in their groups, students will create and develop their own business ideas and projects, think through ways to implement it, and at the final Enterprise Fair they will be able to present the results of the work to their friends and teachers for evaluation.

In each class there are no more than 15 people, the intensity of education is from 20 hours weekly. Classes are conducted by both professional university lecturers, and invited speakers - well-known politicians, businessmen and entrepreneurs. Forms of lessons include a large number of discussions and presentations, team work in projects and professional seminars on profile topics: at the end of the program there is also a private portfolio competition, a solemn Award Ceremony where each student will receive a personal certificate indicating his achievements and successes.

Preparing for law schools (Law School Preparation)

  • Age of students: 16-18 years

The thematic program is designed for students who want to build a career in the world of law, law and jurisprudence. The summer course is intended for high school students of 16-18 years: it not only deepens their profile knowledge and academic skills, but also provides valuable information on further educational and career paths. The course program includes:

  • Discussions, lectures and seminars with world-class professionals
  • workshops in writing an extended essay on legal topics (lead by experienced Oxford Royal educators)
  • help in collecting and submitting documents, preparing for a personal interview
  • preparation for the LNAT profile exam
  • thematic excursions and trips (for example, a visit to the Royal Court and monitoring the progress of the real process)
  • the final ceremony of awarding and handing of personal certificates, where all personal achievements and successes are noted
  • consideration of opportunities for internships and working practices in the future
  • acquaintance with the British system of law
  • development of skills of logical, critical, analytical thinking, correct argumentation, oratory.

Preparing for medical schools (Medical School Preparation)

  • Age of students: 16-18 years
  • Dates: 1-28 of July.

A very useful thematic program that helps high school students 16-18 years old to effectively prepare for admission to the best medical schools, universities and faculties of Britain and the world. This special accredited program includes lectures and master classes with invited speakers from the world of medicine, as well as preparation for the BMAT profile exam (or the UKCAT) required for admission to medical specialties. Also, the students together with the consultants will consider the differences between different universities and faculties (up to Oxford and Cambridge), the features of admission to them, the rules for writing entrance examinations, filing documents and passing a personal interview. Such a comparative analysis will help students to make the right choice and increase their chances of successful enrollment!

Students of the summer camp are accommodated in their own residences at St Andrews University: they are cozy, comfortable private bedrooms with a high level of comfort (with private bathrooms) - in the main period of the year students of bachelor's and master's courses live.
