Accommodation, meals, prices

SMC does not have a student residence, however, the IEC – an office located on the 3rd floor of the SMC Student Service Building – is always ready to assist students with the many housing options available in the area. University consultants suggest considering neighboring areas: West Los Angeles, Sotel, Mar Vista and Westwood, which are in quick accessibility and offer a wide range of inexpensive accommodation options.

It is very important to choose accommodation near the university! Los Angeles is one of the busiest cities in the U.S., and professors can punish late students, especially in the first week of school. It's best not to choose places like West Hollywood or Koreatown – they can be cheap, but suggest a very long journey to university and back.
