Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier University is a public scientific, cultural and professional institution (EPSCP) with educational, scientific, administrative and financial autonomy. The name of the university pays homage to Paul Sabatier, a scientist born in Carcassonne in 1854. After receiving the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1912, Paul Sabatier became Dean of the Faculty of Sciences in Toulouse and a member of the Academy of Sciences. University of Toulouse III - The University of Paul Sabatier proudly hosts over 35,000 students today and hosts 68 research structures on its campus.

The university dates back to the 13th century, although it was officially founded in 1969. The variety of laboratories and the quality of teaching in the fields of science, health, sports, technology and engineering have ensured its scientific impact for over 50 years, placing it among the leading universities in the world. According to the international ranking of the National Taiwan University (NTU ranking), it is included in the top 300 educational institutions for scientific work.

Linking scientific disciplines with cultural practices, interaction between campus and the city through partnerships with urban cultural structures are important tasks of the university's cultural policy. The Cultural Center helps students to discover areas of art, to develop a critical mind, and meet artists. The Toulouse Rangueil Le CAP concert hall promotes the exchange of opinions and is a real place for self-expression.

The sports center of the university is opened for studying, sports for beginners and high-level athletes.

Operation neOCampus, which brings together the know-how of 11 university laboratories, is associated with a project to create a sustainable pilot campus.

Facilities and equipment at Paul Sabatier University (Toulouse 3)

More than 35,000 students and 68 research structures are housed in nine areas of the university: Toulouse, Castres, Tarbes, Osh, Castane-Tolosan, Bagneres-de-Luchon, Lannemezan, Bagneres-de-Bigorre and Mouli. The university contributes to the economic and scientific development of the Occitania region, contributes to the development of the territories.

In Toulouse, on the Rangueil campus with IUT Paul Sabatier, Ranguey, Ponsan, there are the Faculties of Sports and Humanities, Science and Technology, Rangueil Medicine, Dental Surgery and Pharmacy.

The university covers an area of 264 hectares in the southeast of Toulouse and can be reached by bus, bicycle and car. The Rangueil campus is also served by the metro (Faculté de Pharmacie and Université Paul Sabatier stations on line B).

The Purpan Medical School is located in the center of Toulouse at allées Jules Guesde.

Most of the courses at the University of Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier are taught in French. The medical school requires a level of knowledge of French from B1.
