The University was founded on December 27, 2002 in the city of Knyagino, is the largest subject of the labor market of the Knyagininsky and Vorotynsky districts.

The learning process includes a course of lectures and seminars, practical and laboratory classes, educational and pre-diploma practice.

The university provides four dormitories for nonresident full-time students. A total of 509 students can live in the buildings. The cost of living per month is from 600 rubles.

For meals for students and staff, the university has three canteens for 308 seats in total, as well as three buffets.

To involve students in social and scientific activities, the university organizes and takes part in the following events:

• Youth Forum "ProfStart52";
• Youth Forum "Young Professionals. We educate personnel for economic growth";
• Excursion to the creamery;
• Excursion to the Poultry Farm "Pavlovskaya";

The education process is carried out in 12 buildings, equipped with classrooms for practical and lecture classes. Modern technologies are actively used in the classrooms: computers, projection screens, multimedia projectors, audio systems. 

Students have free access to five libraries with reading rooms for 148 seats.

For sports, the university has a sports complex with a shooting range and a gym, a football field, a volleyball court, a streetball court, a badminton court and a ski and hockey complex.

At NGIEU, the learning process is divided into two semesters: autumn and spring. At the end of each, an examination session is held, after passing the students, they are given vacations (in winter in January, in summer in July and August).

• Confirmation of registration in the system of individual (personalized) accounting (if any);
• Photos 3x 4 (4 pcs.) ;
• Medical certificate (only for certain areas of education).

The necessary package of documents is provided to the university:

At the moment, more than 4294 undergraduate and graduate students study at the university.

After graduating from the university, graduates become sought-after specialists in large companies, including international ones, and hold positions in the state or municipal service.

For admission to bachelor's and specialist's educational programs, an applicant must:
