The residences on the Marymount grounds are five comfortable buildings, each with a variety of amenities, including air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and living quarters for assistants. Employees of the university, living in the neighborhood with students, guarantee safety and order, tranquility, comfort and round-the-clock assistance in resolving any issues.

  1. Rowley Hall is a classic four-story residential complex located on the north side of the campus. Students are accommodated in single and double fully furnished rooms, use a shared kitchen and living room, bathrooms. On each floor of the residence there are free laundry rooms working on the resident's card.
  2. Lee Ostapenko Hall is a building designed for luxurious and comfortable living. Six floors, reminiscent of a hotel, are united by an elevator and internal stairs, for the convenience of students in the building there is a garage. Students live in suites of four or five people: private bedrooms, two bathrooms and a fully furnished kitchen-living room in all apartments. This residential building is combined with a specialized nursing school and a café, This allows residents to quickly get to school and treat themselves to drinks and snacks in their free time.
  3. Butler Hall is a newly renovated residence with a capacity of 140 students. Residents are offered double suites with shared bathrooms, living rooms and kitchens; In addition, the building houses the Academic Aid Department, which provides support for studies and extracurricular research.
  4. Gerard Phelan Hall is a residential building for 200 students, providing separate floors for male and female students. It is located next to the main canteen of the university, student offices and many study rooms. Each room is designed to accommodate two students who share a bathroom, each floor is equipped with kitchens and living rooms.
  5. Berg Hall is a residence that seats up to 120 people and provides easy access to canteens, important university offices and classrooms. The four wings of the residential building have double rooms and shared bathrooms on each floor; living rooms and kitchens, self-study classes are available.

Marymount University staff will help graduate students and family students find off-campus housing. For example, Ballston Campus Apartments is a high-rise building with studio apartments, single and double bedrooms. The building is conveniently located in the trendy area of Arlington, allows you to quickly get to the educational area and many restaurants, public places and attractions. Residents are provided with a round-the-clock fitness room, free Wi-Fi, indoor garage, outdoor terrace with grill and other services included in the price.

Facilities and equipment at Marymount University

The study area of Marymount University is located in the state of Virginia, the city of Arlington. The main campus is the heart of Marymount and includes:

Opened in 2017, the second campus, the Ballston Center, is a nine-story academic and office tower and a twelve-story residential/commercial building, each with underground parking. The complex is surrounded by a public square and a green courtyard.  The academic tower houses the School of Business Administration, and the School of Education and Human Services' counseling, social services, and forensic, legal psychology programs are conducted here. There is also an office of the reception service for new students. Near the territory there is housing for graduate students and family students.

All areas of Balston's main campus and downtown have wireless internet access and computer labs. 

The 4040 Center, the university's third academic building located just two blocks from the Ballston subway station, houses the infrastructure for conducting a doctoral program in physical therapy, as well as the MedStar Clinic. The 4040 Center is just minutes from the main campus, and students get there and back on the free Marymount buses. 

The library system of Marymount University is more than 12 million resources: books, electronic media, lectures and research papers. Two campuses, with the exception of Center 4040, have reading rooms and literature distribution areas open to students of all programs. The library also has conference rooms, computers, and a 3D printed MakerSpace.

Admission dates and extra charges

The academic year consists of three semesters: autumn, summer and spring. Classes begin on August 28 and end on July 27, rest is provided on national, international holidays and between semesters. The school week lasts from Monday to Friday, there are no classes on Saturdays and Sundays.
