Associate of Occupational Science – Acting

  • The term of study is 2 years.

The program contains lectures and practices for obtaining an associate degree in acting. For two years, students will study various methods of self-expression, train performance skills in performances, develop imagination, emotionality, discipline. The program is based on methods for the development of voice and speech, movements, camera perception and live performance, as well as acting techniques.

The future actor will gain comprehensive knowledge of classical, avant-garde and modern methods of performance in a variety of works: from world dramas to comedy productions, from cinema and television to the theater stage.

Associate of Occupational Science – Screenwriting

  • The term of study is 2 years.

This course is ideal for those who are interested in screenwriting and wish to start a career as a screenwriter.

Students will develop effective self-expression and seek a connection between their imagination and the interest of the public. A sequential learning process will introduce students to the basic aspects of unique screenwriting – a complex art form in which the author must "compress" his own fictional world with unique characters into a concise written document.

To create effective and compelling stories, a screenwriter needs to learn how to use his personal experience and combine it with the requirements of the story and the genre in which he works. The ultimate goal of the training is to create several ready-made short and feature film scripts. They should reflect the entire fictional universe of at least 90-120 pages.

  • The term of study is 1 year.

The program is an opportunity to attend practical classes and applied experience for those who do not want to get a full-fledged degree in acting.

It is based on the four main standard techniques of American acting: Meissner, Adler, Strasberg and Chekhov. Students are given access to sections of the two-year program that provide basic knowledge about character creation, the world of auditions, and effective communication with colleagues.

The course provides a meaningful introduction to film and television acting, laying a solid foundation for building a career in Hollywood.

Certificate Program – Screenwriting

  • The term of study is 1 year.

The program is a shorter version of a two-year screenwriting degree course. Students will attend core disciplines to gain applied knowledge in screenwriting. The program is also suitable for those who already have an education in this specialty, but do not have the necessary experience to start a career.

Over the course of the year, students will understand how to analyze and break down the script, develop characters and explore the psychological aspects of created personalities, and study the visual aspects of filmmaking. The training will end with two full-fledged scripts of a short or feature film with an individual story and characters of no more than 90-120 pages.
